NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Ryan Reynolds recently sparked concern among fans after he paid a visit to his pal Hugh Jackman on the opening night of his 24-date ‘From New York With Love’ residency on Friday, January 24, to extend his support.

As Jackman started his residency at the Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan on Friday, his ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ co-star and friend was present to support the 56-year-old actor.

While Reynolds was his beloved goofy self and entertained the crowd with his trademark humor, several fans noticed that the ‘Deadpool’ star was looking “unwell.” Some fans even raised concerns that the actor looked “like he hasn't slept for days.”

As reported by Daily Mail, the Canadian-origin actor looked a bit gaunt as he joked and performed amid the crowd wearing a beige embroidered shirt.

The fans’ concern also came amidst the high-profile legal battle the ‘The Proposal’ actor currently found himself in. Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively are facing a $400 million lawsuit that the ‘Gossip Girl’ actress’s ‘It Ends With Us’ co-star Justin Baldoni filed against the couple.

It all started after Lively filed a civil lawsuit against Baldoni accusing him of sexual harassment and creating a toxic workplace on the sets of ‘It Ends With Us’.

As the full-blown legal war between the two parties has surfaced, fans have chosen their sides with a section of them urging to cancel Blake Lively over her alleged behavior.

Amid the legal tussle, Reynolds appeared to help his friend, Hugh Jackman, to weave their ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ magic to gain success on stage.

Taking the stage, Reynolds cracked, “I was told this was going to be a comedy version of Les Mis as a one-man show,” before adding, “We all said it was a terrible idea but he carried on. I see he's duped me once again!”

He went on to praise the ‘Logan’ star, saying, “He showed a kind of courtesy and gentleness and curiosity, and he put value into every single crew member that we were working with,” before gushing, “He's my gotcha for life. I mean it.”

Praising his costar and friend, Reynolds added, “But I wanted to actually just say, I love this man, I care about this man. He is, he is genuinely the best human being I know. And I have four children!”

Jackman replied, “I love you, Ryan Reynolds, I love you, man. Thanks for coming. And thanks for asking for a free ticket, too.”

The Instagram comment section showing the clip from Ryan Reynolds' recent outing at Hugh Jackman's show was filled with comments urging the 'Deadpool' star to take some rest. Some displeased fans also marked his recent appearance to be a PR stunt.

One of the fans wrote on Instagram, "Dude looks like he hasn’t slept for dayyyyysssss😅"

Someone else added, "Gray he also actually look nervous. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them kinda not look cocky for the last 10 years."

"He looks unwell," declared another as a concerned fan chimed in, "Well Ryan looks really tired."

Another fan advised genially, "Take a break RR. Might be a better move at the moment," as another fan observed, "The bags under his eyes are telling."

"Those bags… no sleep probably," noted someone else, as another disgruntled user pointed out, "This is trying too hard Reynolds and to be honest I would even say embarrassing 😂."

Someone else referred to Reynolds and Blake Lively's ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni, claiming, "He looks so haggard and we all know why. He and wife are trying so hard to ruin somebody and no one is buying their story."

While a section of the fans were left concerned for the actor, a few were fuming at his alleged "PR stunt."

One of them claimed, "The PR stunt is SCREAMING in our faces. Man, you should lay low and avoid more spotlight. It’s not working."

"This is embarrassing 😑 He is again trying too hard. He knows people are cancelling him and his wife., and he wants to win people back. You are failing, Ryan 👎🏻," noted someone else.
