LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ryan Seacrest left 'Wheel of Fortune' viewers in shock and in stitches when he took a dramatic tumble on the game show stage.
The 50-year-old host had just shared his excitement for one of his favorite new events - the Gloucestershire Cheese Rolling Festival in the UK.
But when Seacrest tried to reenact the festival's iconic race down a hill to chase a wheel of cheese, things took an unexpected turn, and he ended up falling to the floor in a hilarious moment.

Ryan Seacrest dramatically fell down on 'Wheel of Fortune' show
In a recent episode of 'Wheel of Fortune', Ryan Seacrest detailed the unique tradition of the Gloucestershire Cheese Rolling Festival, where participants race down a hill to chase after a wheel of cheese, with the winner taking home the massive cheese wheel.
According to a video posted to the official 'Wheel of Fortune' Instagram account, Seacrest shared, "So what could be better?"
His longtime co-host, Vanna White, then asked, "You ready to try it?" while holding a large wheel of cheese with the game show’s logo. "I was born for this," Seacrest replied confidently.
As White rolled the cheese, Seacrest sprinted after it. But as he lunged forward, he seemingly misstepped and took a dramatic fall, landing hard on the stage. His entire body dove forward, belly-flopping and face-planting on the ground, with a loud thud echoing through the studio.
The camera then cut to White, who appeared shocked by the fall. "Oh no! Are you going to be OK?" she asked, before quickly confirming, "He’s OK!"
Seacrest quickly recovered, running back to center stage, holding up the 'Wheel of Fortune' cheese and hiding behind White, clearly out of breath. He waved goodnight to the viewers as the video caption read, "If we had a nickel for every time Ryan ended up on the floor this season..."
