Scott Adams says he accidentally sent Trump to voicemail when POTUS called him after his cancer diagnosis

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: 'Dilbert' comic strip creator Scott Adams recently revealed that President Donald Trump personally called him to offer support after his prostate cancer diagnosis.
The longtime cartoonist was discussing former President Joe Biden’s cancer diagnosis on his 'Coffee with Scott Adams' web show when he revealed that he has been suffering from the same kind of aggressive cancer that has spread to his bones.
"It won’t surprise you at all, but I have the same cancer Joe Biden has. So I also have prostate cancer that has also spread to my bones. I’ve had it longer than he’s had—well, longer than he’s admitted having it,” Adams said, adding that his "life expectancy is maybe this summer."
“I expect to be checking out of this domain sometime this summer. The disease is already intolerable. I can tell you that I don’t have good days,” he continued.
“So if you are wondering, ‘Hey Scott, do you have any good days’? Nope. Nope. Every day is a nightmare, and evening is even worse.”

Scott Adams reveals letting Donald Trump’s call go to voicemail
In a new video released on Thursday, May 23, Scott Adams revealed that Donald Trump personally called him twice to offer support after his devastating announcement.
He accidentally let Trump’s call go to voicemail at first before realizing it was the sitting president of the United States calling.
“Somebody’s calling me from some number I don’t recognize, something in Florida, and I sent it to voicemail. A little bit later, I thought, I better check those voicemails and see if that was anything I needed to deal with,” Adams revealed, according to Mediaite.

However, Adams was left surprised when he heard the first sentence of the voicemail. “This is your favorite president,” the first sentence of the transcribed voicemail read.
“And I thought to myself, no, did I just send the most important person in the world to voicemail?” the cartoonist said.
Adams claimed that Trump left a long voicemail with a number to call him back, but Adams chose not to do so because he thought it would be a bit "ridiculous" to call the Commander-in-Chief.

“Same day, it’s the afternoon, and all of a sudden another call comes through, also from Florida, and I thought to myself, no f*****g way, there’s no way he’s calling me again, and I answer it, and it’s Trump,” he added.
Adams recounted that the president asked about his diagnosis and offered any support he needed.
“At the end, the strangest thing happened at the at the end of the call, you know, when he found out, you know, the situation was kind of dire, and I was still checking out some things that might help, he said, ‘if you need anything, I’ll make it happen.'”
“And he meant it. He was completely aware of our, let’s say, parallel journeys from 2015, he mentioned it, and it was just the most incredible, weird, hard to understand situation, but boy, was it fun,” Adams said.
Not just Adams, President Trump even sent sympathy and support to his longtime foe Joe Biden after his office announced his cancer diagnosis. “Melania and I are saddened to hear about Joe Biden’s recent medical diagnosis. We extend our warmest and best wishes to Jill and the family, and we wish Joe a fast and successful recovery,” he said in a Truth Social post.

“I’ve heard numerous other stories of Trump doing similar things with others with zero publicity & little to no public knowledge. Really shows his character & empathy with others. He really is misunderstood by so many,” another user wrote.

"That’s Trump. That’s what he does. He genuinely cares about America and it’s people. I’m not going to be political here, but this is the type of president that we need. Someone that is fighting for Americans. God bless you, Scott. Hope it works out, will pray for you," one more said.
