NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Sean 'Diddy' Combs recently reunited with his twin daughters, D’Lila and Jessie, 17, and his mom, Janice, for the first time since his September arrest on charges of racketeering and trafficking.

The emotional visit comes after the music mogul was arrested on September 16. He is detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn and has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs' twins reunite with him behind bars

Sean 'Diddy' Combs' twin daughters traveled from Los Angeles, where they've been under the care of their mother Kim Porter’s best friend, Lala, to see their father, according to TMZ.

In a supervised area of the facility, Combs and his daughters shared hugs and conversations, marking their first reunion since Homeland Security agents took him into custody.

Sources close to the family shared that the twins had been eager to spend time with their embattled father, and the reunion was emotional for everyone, including Diddy’s mother, Janice, who also made the trip.

Diddy shares Christian, Jessie and D’Lila with late actress Kim Porter, who died at the age of 47 in 2018. The rapper adopted Quincy, whose parents are Porter and Al B Sure! He shares Justin with Misa Hylton and Chance with entrepreneur Sarah Chapman. Diddy later welcomed daughter Love in December 2022 with model Dana Tran.

Janice recently broke her silence on her son’s arrest through her attorney, Natlie G Figgers, stating, “I come to you today as a mother that is devastated and profoundly saddened by the allegations made against my son, Sean Combs. It is heartbreaking to see my son judged not for the truth, but for a narrative created out of lies," per New York Post.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs' mother says her son's 'not the monster'

“My son is not the monster they have painted him to be, and he deserves the chance to tell his side. I can only pray that I am alive to see him speak his truth and be vindicated,” Janice Combs' statement added.

Janice acknowledged that Combs has “made mistakes” in his past but emphasized that those mistakes should not define him in the face of the grave charges he now faces, including the infamous 2016 video where Diddy was caught assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Casandra 'Cassie' Ventura.

“My son may not have been entirely truthful about certain things, such as denying he has ever gotten violent with an ex-girlfriend when the hotel’s surveillance showed otherwise,” she stated.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs caught on camera physically assaulting Cassie Ventura

Sean 'Diddy' Combs' ex-girlfriend, Casandra 'Cassie' Ventura, filed a lawsuit in November 2023 claiming that the rapper had been abusive toward her throughout their relationship. He allegedly paid an undisclosed sum, rumored to be in the millions, to settle the suit within a day.

In May of this year, CNN published a gut-wrenching surveillance video from 2016 in which Diddy appeared to assault Ventura in the hallway of a hotel. The actions seen in the video reportedly seemed to match the claims made by Ventura in her lawsuit.

Two days after the video came to light, the music mogul issued an apology saying, "My behavior on that video is inexcusable." He had previously denied Ventura's allegations.

Janice Combs reiterated, “Not being entirely straightforward about one issue does not mean my son is guilty of the repulsive allegations and the grave charges leveled against him.”

Diddy faces a minimum of 15 years behind bars and a maximum sentence of life in prison if found guilty of the serious charges leveled against him.
