LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Amid drama over Justin Bieber’s cruel Vogue confession, Hailey Bieber has found support in an unexpected person—his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

The rumors of trouble in Hailey’s marriage with Justin have been making the rounds for a while now. But the gossip skyrocketed after the ‘Baby’ singer revealed he once told his wife that she would never be on the cover of Vogue magazine. 

On May 20, the Rhode Beauty owner was revealed to be the summer issue cover girl of US Vogue, a huge achievement. 

But instead of sharing the Vogue cover and applauding his wife, the singer revealed a rude comment he made to her, in what appeared to be a very backhanded compliment.

Posting the Vogue cover, Bieber wrote, "Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight, I told hails that she would never be on the cover of vogue, Yikes I know, so mean, For some reason because I felt so disrespected I thought I gotta get even."

He ended the post with a message to Hailey that read, "So baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn’t get a Vogue cover cuz clearly I was sadly mistaken."

Bieber’s message for his wife Hailey spread like a wildfire and invited a backlash from fans. Hours later, the 31-year-old singer heavily edited the caption, deleted his message, and updated it with a string of random emojis. But the damage was already done.

Selena Gomez shows support for Hailey Bieber

Amid the ongoing drama, Selena Gomez came out to support Hailey publicly. The ‘Only Murders In The Building’ star first liked an Instagram post announcing Hailey’s makeup line, Rhode Beauty, will be in Sephora stores.

The 32-year-old singer, who is engaged to Benny Bianco, then posted an excerpt from the self-help book called ‘The Words I Never Dared To Say’ by Isabelle Miumiu.

'You discover you have the ability to erase one person's greatest pain. Who would you use this gift on, and why?' the excerpt read.

At the bottom of the story, Gomez also added, “You know who you are, and I’m cheering you on.”

While this could be referencing just about anything under the sun, fans think this message was aimed at Hailey, looking at the timing of the post, the Daily Mail reported.

Now, it has been revealed that Gomez personally contacted Hailey. A source told DeuxMoi that the singer messaged Hailey on Instagram about the Vogue fiasco, but they did not reveal what the note said, according to Perez Hilton.

The tipster went on to claim that the Rhode founder "accidentally opened it [Gomez's DM] and didn't know whether or not to respond."

So what does she do? Hailey allegedly phoned a friend! The model was “fielding calls about what to do the whole day, and Kylie Jenner came over to counsel her,” according to the insider.

Bieber dated Gomez on and off from December 2009 until April 2014, June 2014 until October 2014, and October 2017 until March 2018.

Bieber then went on to marry Hailey, proposing to her only four months after his split from Gomez.

Justin Bieber once again sent his fans into a frenzy as he returned to the stage with a very steamy performance with SZA during her and Kendrick Lamar’s 'Grand National Tour' stop at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

The duo teamed up with the R&B sensation for a sultry rendition of their hit duet 'Snooze', trading flirtatious verses and dancing in close proximity.

The ‘Sorry’ singer even gave her a nice kiss on SZA’s hand while they sang the chorus. The chemistry onstage was evident, and while fans were ecstatic about the unexpected encounter, some couldn't help but focus on Hailey Bieber.

"Justin Bieber is a married man btw. He has chemistry with everyone except Hailey Bieber," someone claimed after seeing the video.

"And [Hailey] reposted him on the story, like ok girl," another individual expressed, adding a confused emoji, according to The Blast.
