LONDON, ENGLAND: Just weeks after saying goodbye to her husband of 43 years, Sharon Osbourne was hit with another crushing blow. The family lost their beloved Siberian Husky, Elvis.

The heartache comes on the heels of Ozzy Osbourne’s death on July 22, when the Black Sabbath legend passed away at the couple’s Buckinghamshire home from heart failure. He was 76 and had performed his final show just two weeks earlier at Birmingham’s Villa Park.

Now, Sharon, 73, is mourning not only her rock icon husband but also the furry companion who “was by my side until the end.”

Taking to Instagram, the grieving matriarch posted tender photos of herself with Ozzy and Elvis.

“I can’t believe I am posting this, but my darling Elvis passed away this week. He gave me 14 precious years. He was by my side until the end. Rest in peace, my darling boy!” the caption read.

The fluffy Husky was often seen padding around beside Sharon on the set of her US talk show 'The Talk', and fans had come to adore him as one of the Osbournes’ most loyal companions.

Daughter Kelly Osbourne, 40, also poured her heart out on social media, sharing that Elvis had been her anchor during her father’s final days and beyond. “It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that we lost Elvis this week. Our guardian angel has left us. Elvis did not leave my side since my dad passed,” she wrote.

Kelly added that she’s trying to make sense of the timing.

“He helped get me through the darkest moment of my life. I keep trying to find a positive in all of this, and the only thing I can come up with is that maybe my dad needed him. Life can be so cruel, but also give you many treasures. We were so lucky to have Elvis for 14 years. Thank you for all the love, Elvis, you were one of a kind. I love you, sleep well, sweet prince, until we meet again!" she said.

Fans immediately flooded the Osbournes’ comment sections with condolences. One wrote, “So very sorry for your loss. Elvis is with Ozzy now.” Another added, “Oh noooooo, I’m so sorry, Sharon. I know he was always right by your side. Sending you so much."

Even amid their grief, Sharon and her children have found moments to honor Ozzy’s memory. Just last week, Sharon, Kelly, and Jack Osbourne were spotted visiting a massive pumpkin mural dedicated to the late rock icon.

The tribute is located at Sunnyfields Farm in Totton, Hampshire, and features a 35-foot-tall image of Ozzy made from over 10,000 pumpkins.

The Osbournes took in the view from a cherry picker, accompanied by Kelly’s fiancé Sid Wilson and their son Sidney. Sharon, according to witnesses, appeared emotional but grateful.

Farm owner Tom Nelson told reporters, “It seemed like it meant a lot to them, and they were a little emotional. It was a very relaxed atmosphere, and they seemed to enjoy their evening. They were just like a normal family having an evening out and thanked us for the tribute at the end. It is always a relief when the public perception of a work like this goes down well."

Nelson added that Ozzy had overwhelmingly won a public poll in September to determine this year’s honoree, nabbing 70 percent of the vote. It took a team of 16 people more than four hours to complete the pumpkin portrait, which will remain on display until Halloween.

Ozzy’s death ended years of health struggles that had plagued the heavy metal legend. In 2019, a fall at the family’s home caused his condition to deteriorate further, leading to multiple surgeries and a long recovery that kept him off the stage he loved.

Despite the setbacks, the “Crazy Train” rocker managed a final farewell performance for his fans with his Black Sabbath bandmates in July.
