Sharon Osbourne praises Ozzy Osbourne, says 'he really deserves' Rock Hall induction as a solo artist
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Sharon Osbourne is thrilled as husband Ozzy Osbourne marked a significant milestone in his illustrious career with his solo induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
On April 22, the rock legend who was first inducted in 2006 as a member of Black Sabbath, received his second Rock Hall induction as part of the class of 2024.

Kelly Osbourne says Ozzy Osbourne's Hall of Fame induction is 'so exciting'
Ahead of Ozzy's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction announcement, his daughter Kelly Osbourne said, "Oh, that's so exciting," according to People.
Speaking about the musician joining the organization as a soloist, Sharon said the recognition is not about the family but "for Ozzy."
She shared that the induction is an honor for him "to be in a small group of people who have been inducted twice."

"Ozzy was inducted with Black Sabbath, and for him to get in as a solo artist will be a huge achievement for him and one that he really does deserve," said Sharon.
Sharon Osbourne says her family had their fingers crossed for Ozzy's 2nd Rock Hall entry
Sharon noted that the family had "everything crossed — fingers crossed, legs crossed, everything" in hopes that would be able to have a second entry into the Rock Hall.

The Osbourne family tuned in to the April 21 episode of American Idol as Ryan Seacrest and Lionel Richie announced the full class of 2024 inductees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on the reality show.
"I can easily say this will be the first time I've ever watched American Idol," said Ozzy's son Jack Osbourne and Sharon responded saying, "And Ozzy too, Jack. I don't think Ozzy's ever watched the show, so it will be a first."
Who are the musicians set for the 2024 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction?
Among the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees including Ozzy are Peter Frampton, Foreigner, Cher, Dave Matthews band, Kool & the Gang, Mary J Blige, and A Tribe Called Quest.

The Musical Influence Award recipients include the late Alexis Korner, John Mayall, and the late Big Mama Thornton while the Musical Excellence Award recipients are the late Norman Whitfield, late Jimmy Buffett, Dionne Warwick, and MC5.
Suzanne de Passe will be honored with the Ahmet Ertegun Award.
On October 19, the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
Following the induction announcement, Ozzy said he is "more than honored" to be inducted again as it feels "different" from his first "because my solo career, it’s been a much larger part of my overall music career as a whole."
