CHILLICOTHE, MISSOURI: Gypsy Rose Blanchard, who was convicted for the murder of her mother following years of abuse and medical fraud, was released early from Chillicothe Correctional Center at 3.30 am on Thursday, December 28.

Recently, news has been making rounds about the 32-year-old who was sentenced to a 10-year prison term in 2015 for the second-degree murder of Clauddine 'Dee Dee' Blanchard in Missouri.

It's reported that she claimed Taylor Swift's music was instrumental in helping her cope with her prison life. Reports also suggest that she is a fan of Swift.

Gypsy Rose, who is reportedly married to Ryan Scott Anderson revealed to TMZ that she has been a fan of Taylor Swift from the beginning, closely following her entire career and finding solace in her music during her 7-year prison sentence.

The well-known convict expressed to the outlet that she and Taylor have each experienced their unique journeys, and Taylor's music has been a constant companion through the highs and lows of her life.

More specifically, Gypsy shared that the singer's melodies were a significant source of comfort in dealing with the abuse and trauma inflicted by her mother Dee Dee, as well as her incarceration period.

It's reported that the woman would use the money her father sent her in prison to purchase Taylor's albums.

She was reportedly able to acquire every album Taylor released, including her re-releases.

Gypsy conveyed that Taylor's songs greatly motivated her to secure her freedom, and she is now finally out on parole.

According to the outlet, Gypsy is hopeful of meeting her idol at the upcoming Sunday's Kansas City Chiefs game. This has been on her mind for some time, and her husband, Ryan, has already procured the tickets.

Sources close to Gypsy indicate that she is contemplating giving Taylor a shout-out on social media during the game, hoping that Taylor might notice it, despite acknowledging that it's a long shot.
