Speaking of Manganiello and Vergara's divorce which ended in July 2023 and was finalized in February, a source shared, “Sofía didn’t want a divorce, it broke her heart, but she says that’s life."
The insider spilled to Radar Online that Vergara has "done her best to move on and is bouncing back," and noted that her "friends say she seems happier than ever, and the secret is her positive and upbeat attitude."
"Sofía misses Joe, she’s distracting herself with work, seeing old friends, and rediscovering hobbies."
"She may fall from time to time, but she always gets back up, brushes herself off, and moves on," the insider concluded.
Sofia Vergara is 'not looking to be tied down'
In the wake of her split from the 'Magic Mike' actor, Vergara was in the middle of speculation surrounding a romantic relationship with orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman.
However, sources suggest that the actress has been enjoying "dating around" rather than committing to a serious relationship.
Meanwhile, Manganiello has moved on with his girlfriend Caitlin O'Connor and recently made their relationship Instagram official on Valentine's Day on February 14.
Despite the public confirmation of Manganiello's new relationship, Vergara is "not looking to be tied down."
The 51-year-old actress "is relieved to be in control of her life and is excited about what the future holds in her personal and professional life," explained the source, noting she is ready to begin a "new chapter."
