The Colombian-American actress was married to Joe Manganiello for seven years before ending it legally last year. However, now she’s looking for fresh love, as reported by People.
At the 2025 Golden Globes on Sunday, January 5, Vergara revealed to Access Hollywood that she’s hoping for “health, money, a boyfriend, or a lover, maybe" in the new year.

However, the award was won by Jodie Foster for ‘True Detective: Night Country’.

Sofia Vergara divorced Joe Manganiello as she didn't want to be an 'old mom'
Coming to the ‘Hot Pursuit’ star’s personal life, Sofia Vergara split from Joe Manganiello in July 2023. Their divorce was finalized in April 2024.
The couple shared in a statement, per Page Six, “We have made the difficult decision to divorce.”
“As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect for our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives,” they added.
Also, during a January 2024 interview with Spanish newspaper El País, Vergara shared, “I’m newly divorced from my second husband [actor Joe Manganiello], who I was with for 10 years. My marriage broke up because my husband was younger; he wanted to have kids and I didn’t want to be an old mom.”
The ‘America’s Got Talent’ judge frankly asserted at the time that she was now ready to become a grandmother and not a mother.
“I had a son at 19, who is now 32, and I’m ready to be a grandmother, not a mother. So, if love comes along, he has to come with [his own] children. I’m almost in menopause; it’s the natural way of things,” Vergara explained.
She even added, “When my son becomes a dad, let him bring the baby to me for a while and then I’ll give it back to him and go on with my life; that’s what I have to do.”
After her marriage ended, Sofia sparked romance rumors with orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman in late 2023 after undergoing knee surgery but toward the later part of last year, she revealed she was single.
