Internet slams Trump as he hails truckers boycotting NYC as 'great patriots' after $355M fraud verdict
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Former President Donald Trump lauded a group of truckers as "great patriots," commending their decision to boycott transporting goods to and from New York City in protest of the $355 million civil fraud ruling levied against him, reported Daily Mail.
A Trump-supporting truck driver named Chicago Ray took to X, sharing a video claiming around ten of his colleagues started refusing loads to the Big Apple after the verdict, adding their boss did not care they refused the loads.
"I don't wish nothing on nobody, but what I am hearing, this is real. We will see, leave Trump the f**k alone with the bulls**t," he warned.
"I hate to say it, but truckers are for Trump. Ain't no motherf***ers are for Biden," the trucker said in the nearly three-minute video with more than seven million views right now.
I've been on the radio for over an hour and I've talked to at least (10) Truckers who are gonna start refusing loads of Monday for (NYC) ...I talked to (3) guys that I work with who texted the boss and told him no (NYC)

On February 16, NY Judge Arthur Engoron hit Trump with a massive penalty along with a three-year ban from serving as an officer or director at any of the state's corporations in the lawsuit filed by AG Letitia James.
Trump calls protesting truckers 'patriots'
Responding to the truckers' staunch support, the former president wrote on his Truth Social platform, "Such an honor to have so many great Patriots on the side of FREEDOM!"
"Joe Biden's Unfair and Dangerous Weaponization of Law Enforcement is a serious threat to Democracy. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN," Trump added.
After the Republican frontrunner praised their plan, trucker Ray posted again, sharing a screenshot of Trump's Truth Social post on X, writing, "Trump just posted my video and picture on his Truth Social account, pretty f****n cool...God Bless America, God bless Trump, and God bless every Truck driver in this country."
"Truckers for Trump," he declared.
Trump ally Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene endorsed the truckers' movement on X, asserting that the American people possess greater power than they might recognize. She further proclaimed that a unified action can "stop the weaponized government."
The former president, as he closes in on the Republican nomination, slammed Judge Engoron and AG James after the verdict and declared his decision to appeal.
Internet responds to Trump's words
Netizens, criticizing Trump for dividing the people over his legal setback, stated he ruined the trucker's livelihood.
One user wrote, "Oh yes sow fear and division."
"Donald...that is the bottom of the barrel....no way down," another user remarked. A third added, "Another sad post! What a shame!"
A fourth response read, "Someone needs to start a list of Trump supporting truckers. That way we can avoid consigning loads to them!"
