LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Lopez received significant help from her husband, Ben Affleck, for her new Netflix film, 'Atlas'.

Sterling K Brown, who stars opposite Lopez in the movie, revealed that Affleck assisted her in preparing for her role by reading lines with her, helping her capture the necessary emotions, as reported by Page Six.

Brown shared with Entertainment Weekly that Affleck would sometimes read lines for his character, Smith, allowing Lopez to react to her husband's voice, which added depth to her performance.

“Every once in a while, Ben would read the lines for my character Smith,” the 'This Is Us' star told Entertainment Weekly.

“And I think the newlyweds, still very much in love, I think she just wanted to hear his voice. And so sometimes, the reactions that you got from her were because she was listening to her husband’s voice.”

Since rekindling their relationship over three years ago, Bennifer 2.0 has been supporting each other’s projects. The 'Jenny From the Block' singer, 54, assisted Affleck in perfecting the ’90s-era costumes for his hit movie 'Air', while the 'Good Will Hunting' star made an appearance in her sci-fi-inspired 'This Is Me … Now: A Love Story', which accompanied her latest album.

“We collaborate very well together,” she told Entertainment Tonight in December 2023. “So we were able to kind of sit down and really dig into it, in a way that I don’t think any other writer could’ve done with me.”

Unfortunately, sources have told Page Six that the two may no longer be interested in collaborating professionally or personally, and Affleck has missed all of Lopez’s 'Atlas' premieres.

“If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity, he would,” an insider shared.

“He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he’s come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work.”

Although Affleck lives separately from Lopez, he has allegedly been looking for a house in Los Angeles.

In a video posted by El Gordo y la Flaca and cited by Page Six, Lopez responded to the inquiry with a brief, "You know better than that," accompanied by a fleeting smile after an announcer cut short the question. Her co-star, Simu Liu, also stepped in to defend her, urging the reporter not to pursue the line of questioning.

Fans quickly rallied to Lopez's defense, expressing their support and noting the apparent "hurt" on her face when the question was raised. The incident has fueled online theories and discussions, with many speculating about the true state of Lopez and Affleck's relationship.

Affleck, who shares three children with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, has not publicly addressed the divorce rumors. However, the couple was seen together on May 17, attending a performance starring Affleck's 15-year-old daughter Seraphina.
