Taylor Swift comforts pregnant Brittany Mahomes after Kermit the Frog puppet incident
Taylor Swift stepped in to support her friend Brittany Mahomes after her husband Patrick was seemingly targeted by Buffalo Bills fans. Swift's boyfriend, Travis Kelce, has also found the incident troubling, according to an insider, per DailyMail.
The source revealed, "Taylor’s friends said she and Travis found it incredibly disturbing. She has talked to Brittany who was really taken aback."
The insider also drew a parallel between this disturbing stunt and the recent burglaries targeting Kelce and Mahomes' properties in October.
For context, Kelce’s $6 million home in Leawood, Kansas, was burglarized while the Chiefs were playing the New Orleans Saints at Arrowhead Stadium on October 7, with Swift in the stands. Meanwhile, Mahomes’ Belton, Missouri, home was also targeted, with jerseys, medals, trophies, and other items stolen.
The source shared, "Considering the recent burglaries and then to have this stunt with Kermit happen goes to show all of them that they really need to be vigilant when it comes to their security."
The insider added, "They would all like to find out who did this, and footage should reveal it. Not to press charges, per say, but just to know that it was nothing more sinister than a joking Bills fan."
It’s important to note that neither Patrick Mahomes nor Travis Kelce have made any comments regarding the Kermit the Frog puppet stunt that sparked outrage online.
Patrick Mahomes and Kermit the Frog comparisons
Patrick Mahomes has often been compared to Kermit the Frog because of his voice, which many feel resembles that of the iconic muppet.
Mahomes addressed these comparisons before the Super Bowl in February.
During a press conference at the time, he said, "I'm talking right now, that's it. I've gotten used to it, it's like the joke that keeps giving. I've heard it all, jokes about Kermit the Frog or about smoking cigarettes."
He added, "It's unique, so maybe I'll get a deal from having that unique voice."
Patrick Mahomes breaks silence on home burglary
Following the burglary in his house that occurred after midnight on October 6, Patrick Mahomes has broken his silence on the unsettling incident.
During a press conference on Wednesday, November 13, he addressed the incident saying, "It’s disappointing. I can’t get into too many details because the investigation is still ongoing but it’s obviously something you don’t want to happen to anybody — and obviously yourself."
When reporters pressed for more information about the burglary and its circumstances, he responded, "I can’t speak too much about the details of everything with the investigation going on but I’m sure at some point that will be talked about."
