LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Simone Biles, who has won seven Olympic medals in gymnastics, has caught the attention of music icon Taylor Swift

Swift reacted to Biles incorporating her track 'Ready for It' into her floor routine during Day 2 of the 2024 US Olympic Gymnastics Trials on Saturday, June 29. 

Swift's response to Biles' performance underscored the singer's admiration for the athlete's remarkable talent.

Taylor Swift reacts to Olympic champion gymnast Simone Biles' floor routine

According to People, the 27-year-old Olympic champion gymnast used Taylor Swift's song 'Ready for It' at the start of her floor routine.

The official NBC Olympics & Paralympics Twitter page shared a video with the caption "...Ready for it? SIMONE BILES' FLOOR ROUTINE #USAGTRIALS24," prompting a response from the pop star herself.

Taylor Swift tweeted, "Watched this so many times and still unready. She’s ready for it tho👏👏👏🥇🇺🇸❤”, on Saturday, June 29.

In the video, Biles performed to Swift’s track from her 2017 album 'Reputation', including executing what a commentator described as the “hardest tumbling pass in the world" - the triple-double. 



 

Biles, a seven-time Olympic medalist, previously made history in 2019 as the first woman to perform this challenging gymnastics move at the US Gymnastics Championships in Kansas City, Missouri. 



 

Additionally, during her June 28 routine, she included Travis Scott’s song 'Delresto (Echoes)', featuring Beyonce, helping her secure the top position in the women's qualifying rounds despite some challenges on the balance beam.

The top male and female gymnasts in the country gathered in Minneapolis to compete in the US Olympic gymnastics team trials from Thursday, June 27, to Sunday, June 30. At the conclusion of the event, the men's and women's 2024 gymnastics teams were named and are now ready to head to Paris for the 2024 Summer Games.

Taylor Swift fans can't keep calm after she reacts to Simone Biles' floor routine

Shortly after Swift reacted to Biles' floor routine, millions of X users viewed her comment, with 1,000 people commenting on her response.

One person said, "Oh Taylor supporting Simone! We love to see it!"

Another said, "Two queens!"

The singer is currently in Ireland following celebrity-filled performances in London, England, which included an on-stage appearance by her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, a player for the Kansas City Chiefs. 

Swift performed at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Friday, June 28, and Saturday, June 29. During her Friday show, she incorporated the colors of the Irish flag into the 1989 section of her performance. 

The following day, she spoke to the audience about the creative process behind her pandemic-era album, 'Folklore', which she described as connected to Ireland.

"'Folklore' in general, it just belongs in Ireland," she shared with the audience after singing 'Cardigan'.

"How I imagined the album world looking [was like] Ireland. Storytelling with lots of different characters," Swift explained, referring to the narratives within the album. "You guys have that on lock, too. That's very Irish, the storytelling."
