However, following the double blow earlier this year, the pop star has curtailed coming out in public with a source sharing with Us Weekly that the couple has been "laying low" and ditching the limelight temporarily.
The source noted, "Taylor and Travis are taking it easy right now. They’ve been laying low in Kansas City."
Another insider added, "They’ve been traveling, spending precious time together, and letting the rest of the world go for a bit."
Nevertheless, speculations started regarding the singer’s whereabouts, with fans postulating several theories about the probable causes of her self-imposed exile.
In one such Reddit thread, the users started putting forward their theories. Sharing the screenshot of a Daily Mail article titled, "Taylor Swift is in hiding and concerned insiders say they know why," fans started speculating the reason for Swift's absence from the public eye.
After sharing the screenshot, the original poster (OP) wrote, "Travis doesn’t let her" and continued, "Remember the outrage Swifties had on Joe for being private," referencing Swift’s ex-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, whom she dated from 2016 to 2023.
However, several other fans hypothesized that the ‘Cassandra’ singer might have gone under the knife and is currently recovering from the surgery. Thus she has chosen not to appear in public.
