'That's not a flex': Internet unimpressed as Mariah Carey shares photos with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris

WASHINGTON, DC: Famous pop artist Mariah Carey shared photos of herself on Wednesday, December 20, with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, during a festive visit to the White House with her twins. 

The renowned "Songbird Supreme" also spread the Christmas spirit as she traveled to Washington, DC with her 12-year-old son Moroccan and daughter Monroe at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

In an Instagram post, the 54-year-old singer shared her joy of meeting the President and Vice President at the White House last week to mark the holiday season.

She captured memorable moments from the trip in a carousel of photos alongside her twins, whom she shares with her ex-husband Nick Cannon.

These pictures emerged amid the ongoing debates online questioning whether Republicans should consider removing Biden from the Texas ballot.

The online community did not receive Carey's White House visit with much enthusiasm, with many expressing disappointment over the post.

"Last week I had the pleasure of meeting President Biden & Vice President Harris at the White House to ring in the holiday season!" the 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' hitmaker, 54, said about her festive trip. 

She added, "While there, we got to see all the festive decor and spread some cheer!"

For her visit to the president, Carey dressed in a sparkling black minidress and a matching blazer, both adorned with pink and white borders that matched her pink platform heels.

Her look was completed with a pearl necklace and her caramel-colored hair styled in full-bodied waves.

Her son Moroccan, on the other hand, wore tan corduroy pants, a white turtleneck, a red sweater, and a black sports coat, paired with matching sneakers. He accessorized his outfit with a chain featuring a cross.

Monroe chose a black-and-white checkered skater skirt, black tights, closed-toe shoes, a white shirt with a collar, a black sweater, and a leather jacket on top, per Page Six.

The trio took photos throughout the beautifully decorated mansion, including in the White House's Oval Office.

The internet showed a lack of enthusiasm as Mariah Carey shared photos of her meeting with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

One user commented on Instagram, "Damn…I wish I could unsee this." Another user, referring to her caption, wrote, "Sorry Mariah I love you but how is that a pleasure?"

"Taking you off our playlist in store," wrote a third disappointed person. A fan also said, "DO BETTER MARIAH!!!!!!!!Mariah ilysm!"

"They so not deserve to be around you," mentioned another. "Get this joke off of here," claimed another. "Omg mariahhhhhh noooooooooLol," penned one user.
