PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Donald Trump may not be in the White House right now. But he is not ready to let go of his official Christmas portrait with his wife, Melania Trump he took during his presidency.

The former President posted the five-year-old official picture from the White House for this year's Christmas wishes. He wished everyone a Merry Christmas through social media accounts, including Truth Social, Facebook and Instagram, by posting the 2018 official portrait with the former First Lady, causing hilarious responses from social media users.

The post got widespread attention because of the latest report that suggested Melania was hardly spotted these days with Trump at their luxury resort Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.

Her last public appearance was on December 15 at the National Archives Naturalization Ceremony, where she gave a speech on her immigration experience. However, her rare public speech after leaving the White House was slammed by many, including her ex-advisor, who called it "quite repulsive."

Donald Trump shares an unusual Christmas message

Apart from the wishes, Trump took to his Truth Social account to share an enraged Christmas message pointed at his rivals, including Joe Biden and special counsel Jack Smith. The all-caps post had references to the illegal immigration, and his ongoing legal battles, which took a turn with the latest Colorado Supreme Court ruling him ineligible to hold President's office.

He wrote, "THEY SPIED ON MY CAMPAIGN, LIED TO CONGRESS, CHEATED ON FISA, RIGGED A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, ALLOWED MILLIONS OF PEOPLE, MANY FROM PRISONS & MENTAL INSTITUTIONS, TO INVADE OUR COUNTRY, SCREWED UP IN AFGHANISTAN, & JOE BIDEN'S MISFITS & THUGS, LIKE DERANGED JACK SMITH, ARE COMING AFTER ME, AT LEVELS OF PERSECUTION NEVER SEEN BEFORE IN OUR COUNTRY???"

"IT'S CALLED ELECTION INTERFERENCE. MERRY CHRISTMAS!" Trump concluded the bizarre wish.

Internet trolls Donald Trump for posting a 5-year-old pic

Netizens laughed out loud at Trump for sharing his 5-year-old Christmas photo again. With reports of Melania's absence, netizens suggest that the former President might not have seen her after 2020, which is why he is still using the old pictures.

One user remarked, "Give him a break. That's the last time he saw her."

Another user said, "He resurrected this old photo like Melania resurrected Michelle’s speech."

One user reacted, saying, "No comment."

"His whole wife left him and now he’s digging back into the archives to make it seem like she’s still around," read another witty reaction.

"Who sends 5-yearold Christmas photo cards?" asked a user asked.

Another added, "Ha, BUSTED."

"That's because he hasn't seen her since he lost the election," one user remarked.

Many users shared funny memes mocking Trump for sharing the half-a-decade-old photo.
