LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Doja Cat, the 28-year-old rapper, recently took to social media to express her frustration over parents bringing their children to her shows.

In a series of posts filled with expletives, she cleared that her music is not intended for a young audience.

Doja Cat says 'I don’t make music for children'

In her first post on X (formerly Twitter), she wrote, “idk what the f**k you think this is but I don’t make music for children so leave your kids at home m**********r.”

It was unclear if she targeted any particular individual or that her posts were meant for all those fans bringing their children to her shows.

She followed this up with two more posts questioning why parents were bringing their “offspring” to her shows, given the explicit nature of her lyrics.

“Rappin about eatin d**k and pissin on his v-cut, leave your mistake at home” she added in another post.

Doja Cat's graphic performances and fan reactions

Last weekend, Doja ended her second round of 'Coachella' performances with a performance of her song 'Wet V****a'.

The ‘Vegas’ artist was seen twerking and grinding on stage, surrounded by mud, as noted by HollywoodLife.

This explicit performance left some fans red-faced, with one criticizing, “I recently attended Coachella and saw you perform with my cousins who are kids I was so disappointed."

"When I saw you playing around with the mud naked while your b***y was showing I left the show and wrote a complaint and I was extremely disappointed do better thank you," the fan added.

Doja Cat says she does not hate her fans

Last year, the Grammy Award winner addressed rumors accusing her of underappreciating her fan base.

“One thing I do wanna set straight is: You’ll never see a direct quote of me saying I hate my fans. Not once,” she told Apple Music’s Ebro in December 2023.

She clarified that she enjoys playing with the idea as a meme, but never said she hates her fans.

She also mentioned that she doesn’t feel the need to explain her sense of humor or comedy to anyone. “I’m not gonna make everyone happy, and that’s just that,” she added.

Internet has mixed reactions on Doja Cat's parent-slamming tweets

Despite Doja's rant, some fans agreed with her stance. “You’re not wrong. Bad parenting. I see it all the time,” wrote one fan in agreement.

However, others were left wondering and questioning her choice of words, with one asking, “mistake = child?”

One more asked, "who pissed you off tonight." Another joked, "I thought you made gospel songs."

"doja so real for this," agreed one more. Another said, "I know u not calling kids mistakes doja that’s very offensive."

"Oh doja spilling the tea," one guessed she had aimed at someone.
