'The View' host Joy Behar says 'biggest liar' Trump won't show up to debate Joe Biden despite agreeing
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Joy Behar insisted upon former President Donald Trump skipping the upcoming presidential debates against incumbent Joe Biden while discussing the subject with co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin on the Wednesday, May 15 episode of 'The View.'
According to Fox News, the candidates have already agreed to debate each other twice, first on June 27 hosted by CNN, and then on September 10, hosted by ABC. Trump has also agreed to the restrictions proposed by Biden's team, including the condition that there would be no audience.
Joy Behar slams 'biggest liar' Donald Trump ahead of presidential debate
Behar apparently misunderstood that the GOP candidate was in agreement with the terms of the debates, saying, "It gives him (Trump) a way to get out of it by saying, ‘Look I’m not doing it without an audience.'"
While the other co-hosts tried to explain the situation to Behar, she remained skeptical and decided to "see when it comes time."
She later repeated her claim that Trump would only agree to a debate with a live audience present, stating, "He’s going to stack the audience with Trumpers like he did at that town hall on CNN." When reminded that the agreed-upon terms mentioned no audience was allowed in the debate, she admitted to having "misunderstood" the case.
However, as co-host Goldberg tried to re-explain the terms, Behar seemingly doubled down on her initial belief, claiming that the presumptive GOP nominee would not "go for that."
"I don't believe him. He's the biggest liar. I know what I was saying," she loudly proclaimed.

Biden camp lays down rules for presidential debate
Biden's team presented a list of demands to the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) for the upcoming debates between the incumbent and former Presidents, to which Trump readily agreed.
In addition to having no live audience in the debate, the conditions stipulate that no third-party candidates would be present on stage, and the microphone for each candidate is to be muted after their stipulated time runs out.
Only a limited number of media outlets - CNN, ABC, CBS, and Telemundo - can host the debate, as the Biden campaign explained, "It should be hosted by any broadcast organization that hosted a Republican Primary debate in 2016 in which Donald Trump participated, and a Democratic primary debate in 2020 in which President Biden participated — so neither campaign can assert that the sponsoring organization is obviously unacceptable: if both candidates have previously debated on their airwaves, then neither could object to such venue."
Internet dismisses Joy Behar's opinion about Donald Trump as 'irrelevant'
"She is irrelevant" stated a user reacting to the news.
"Who cares about Joy Behar?" inquired another.
"Too funny, she seems to think Biden is some kind of scary man threat," commented a third.
