'They’re so embarrassing': Internet agrees as Piers Morgan calls to strip Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of their royal titles

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: Piers Morgan has never missed a chance to criticize Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

During his recent appearance on ‘The Megyn Kelly Show’, the broadcaster again took a dig at the couple, saying, "They shouldn't be using the titles of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex bestowed on them by the monarchy," as reported by OK! Magazine.

He further stated, "I hope that King Charles — who is massively distracted by his illness — will at some stage have that conversation and say, 'You can't keep the titles. I'm sorry.’"

The Sussexes left the royal family in 2020 and moved to California.

Internet reacts to Piers Morgan’s demand

A Facebook user commented, "I totally agree they are so embarrassing and as they are not working royals and have abandoned the royal family they must take away the titles. She will go to Africa without security, so why not England, they don't need security."

Another wrote, "I agree too. They walked away, so they do not needed those titles!" while a person added, "Agree 100% with Piers on this one."

Someone else shared, "Don't normally like this fella but this time I agree with him." "I agree with that, they wanted out so let them out completely, they are not royals now don't let them have royal titles," expressed an individual.

Piers Morgan referred to Meghan Markle as a 'ruthless social climbing actress’

In 2018, Morgan reportedly called Meghan a "ruthless social climbing actress who has landed the role of her life and is determined to milk it for all she can" in his column.

Besides, he had even accused Meghan of ghosting her friends after she got involved with Prince Harry, claiming, "The moment she met Harry she cut everybody off who she thought might be no longer desirable in her friend and family circle."

King Charles' health led to his funeral planning

Meanwhile, Charles’ health condition has ignited concerns among his family and well-wishers.

A source earlier told The Daily Beast, "Of course, he is determined to beat it and they are throwing everything at it. Everyone is staying optimistic, but he is really very unwell. More than they are letting on."

The cancer diagnosis even forced the Palace to begin planning if something happened to the monarch.

"The plans have been dusted off and are actively being kept up to date. It’s no more than what you would expect given the king has been diagnosed with cancer. But the circulation of them has certainly focused minds," added an insider.
