LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Cardi B and Offset are facing legal troubles as they are being sued for allegedly failing to pay rent and leaving significant damage to a vacation home in Beverly Hills.

The lawsuit claims that the couple, who started renting the upscale property in early 2022, abruptly moved out in October without providing notice to the landlord.

The celebrity couple was reportedly behind on both rent and utility payments when they vacated the premises,  according to documents obtained by TMZ. The lawsuit also adds that the landlord discovered property damage upon the couple's departure.

The owners claim to have found substantial damage to the property. Alleged damages include permanent scratches on tile floors, rugs, and curtains, broken furniture, holes in walls, and burn marks on various surfaces such as tables, counters, and cabinets.

The cost of repairing the damages has been estimated to be about $85,000, according to the landlords. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, the property owners assert that Cardi B and Offset have not cooperated.
