ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA: First Lady Jill Biden denounced former President Donald Trump, labeling him a "bully" who is "dangerous to the LGBTQ community, to our families, to our country."

Speaking at the Human Rights Campaign's 'Equality in Action' event in Virginia on Friday, April 12, Jill rallied LGBTQ+ voters for her husband, President Joe Biden's reelection bid, urging the community to "fight like hell" to keep the GOP presumptive nominee from winning against the incumbent in the upcoming election.

She declared, "Donald Trump is a bully. He is dangerous to the LGBTQ+ community, to our families, to our country, and we cannot let him win," reported the Associated Press.

Jill upheld the current administration's works to promote more rights to the community, such as signing a law to protect gay marriage, changing a Trump-era rule that prevented military service for transgender individuals, and including gay and bisexual men in blood donation.

The first lady claimed that some forces are attempting "to erase these hard-won gains" to undo the community's progress.

She stressed, "We have to fight like hell. Today, tomorrow, and all the days after. Until the polls close on November 5. Until Joe and Kamala have won another term. Until all the people in all the places can live freely surrounded by love."

"They want to take our victories away but we won't let them. Your president will not let them. I will not let them," vowed Jill at the Human Rights Campaign gathering.

Previously, during a campaign event in March, Jill noted that the former president was "dangerous to women and our families" in light of his stance on abortion policy and past remarks about women.

Biden's campaign recently launched the 'Out for Biden-Harris' initiative to mobilize LGBTQ+ voters ahead of the November race as their support helped him bag the 2020 election.

This comes as the POTUS struggles with a low public approval rating and dwindling support among other key groups that supported him in 2020.

Internet divided over Jill Biden's remarks about Donald Trump

One said, "Complete nonsense," while another declared, "She’s absolutely right."

A person noted, "No sane person believes that a boroughs-raised billionaire is a threat to gay people." On the other hand, someone else stated, "Of course he is - not sure this sways his supporters..."

"Democrat playbook: fearmongering, race baiting and lies. US voters are not going to fall for it again, Jill," claimed an individual. Whereas, one netizen pointed out, "She’s right. His just picking on them. They didn’t rig anything or break any laws but trump has been trying to sully him since 2018! It’s enough already! Trump is a loser!"

One more said, "Another of Biden's lies. Stop fear-mongering." Meanwhile, another person slammed Trump, writing, "His mere existence is a threat to humanity..."

"Oh boy.... this movie is STALE," read a comment.
