Tim Allen took to X (formerly Twitter) on September 25, where he spoke about the moment when Erika forgave her husband’s alleged killer, Tyler Robinson. He highlighted that forgiveness is not something very easy to give, as he struggled with it for 60 years.
He wrote, “When Erika Kirk spoke the words on the man who killed her husband: 'That man… that young man… I forgive him.” That moment deeply affected me. I have struggled for over 60 years to forgive the man who killed my Dad.
I will say those words now as I type: “ I forgive the man who killed my father.” He concluded by saying, “Peace be with you all.”

In her emotional speech at her husband’s memorial on September 21, Erika revealed that she forgave the 22-year-old suspected killer, Tyler Robinson. Charlie "wanted to save young men, just like the one who took his life," she said.
"Our Savior said, 'Father, forgive them, for they not know what they do.' That young man … I forgive him," Erika said. "I forgive him because it was what Christ did, and it's what Charlie would do," Erika said at the State Farm Stadium on Sunday, where tens of thousands gathered.
Charlie Kirk's death and Tyler Robinson's arrest

Conservative activist and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was shot dead on September 10 while speaking at a public debate event on the Utah Valley University campus, which sent shock waves across the United States.
Later, Tyler Robinson was arrested as the suspected shooter, who is currently being held at a jail in Utah, after a court on September 16 filed seven charges against him, including aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm, obstruction of justice, and witness tampering.

The prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for him.
