LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: American actor and comedian Tim Allen revealed how Erika Kirk’s speech on the day of her husband, Charlie Kirk’s, memorial day, forgiving the suspected killer, deeply affected him.

The speech inspired him to forgive his father’s killer, who was killed in a car accident 60 years ago.

Tim Allen's moving tweet

Tim Allen took to X (formerly Twitter) on September 25, where he spoke about the moment when Erika forgave her husband’s alleged killer, Tyler Robinson. He highlighted that forgiveness is not something very easy to give, as he struggled with it for 60 years.

He wrote, “When Erika Kirk spoke the words on the man who killed her husband: 'That man… that young man… I forgive him.” That moment deeply affected me.  I have struggled for over 60 years to forgive the man who killed my Dad.

I will say those words now as I type: “ I forgive the man who killed my father.” He concluded by saying, “Peace be with you all.”
