ATLANTA, GEORGIA: It’s not every day you hear Ohio University quarterback Parker Navarro's name spoken by Timothee Chalamet, but that's exactly what happened on Saturday, December 7, when the 28-year-old lit up 'College GameDay'.

The 'Dune' actor made a surprise appearance on the ESPN show as the week's guest picker, turning heads with his shockingly deep knowledge of college football.

Timothee Chalamet impresses 'College GameDay' panel

Live from the SEC Championship game in Atlanta, Timothee Chalamet joined the 'College GameDay' panel during a week where only six FBS games remained on the conference championship schedule.

While fans were initially puzzled by his inclusion, the actor quickly proved his worth, rattling off player stats, game trends, and even name-dropping Navarro during his analysis.

"I’m going Jackson State, eight wins in a row, 11 all-conference players, this should be a comfortable, easy win for them," Chalamet said in his first pick.

From the get-go, the actor demonstrated he wasn’t just there for show.

Whether it was his own research or expert preparation behind the scenes, his insights left the panel, which included Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee, Kirk Herbstreit, Rece Davis, and Nick Saban, visibly stunned.

"He said I only got six games, I’m bringing the heat on all six," Herbstreit said.

Chalamet didn’t hold back, effortlessly dishing out his football knowledge one prediction after another.

While making his pick for the Clemson-SMU ACC Championship game, the 'Wonka' star gave a nod to SMU's legendary Pony Express, known as one of college football’s greatest running offenses, led by Eric Dickerson and Craig James.

"Kevin Jennings is a legitimate Heisman contender next year, in my humble opinion. I’m pulling for SMU, it smells like the 1980s folks," Chalamet remarked.

For the SEC Championship showdown between Texas and Georgia, Chalamet made his prediction with a personal connection in mind.

"You know it’s hard to beat the same team twice. Adjustments are made, it’s like a game of chess. Coach Saban knows this better than anyone on this dais. Listen, I’m going with my movie-dad (Matthew) McConaughey here. I’m sorry to everyone here, this is a Longhorn’s victory, hook’em horns," he said.
