Internet divided as Keke Palmer's ex Darius Jackson files to obtain his own restraining order

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Keke Palmer and her ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson’s legal battles are getting more contentious than ever.

After filing his response on the ‘Hustlers’ star’s request for a restraining order on Friday, December 15, Jackson has now filed for a restraining order against Palmer.

Per the documents obtained by TMZ, Jackson filed for a restraining order against the mother of his son on Tuesday, December 19 claiming she was physically and verbally abusive toward him during their relationship.

In the new document, Jackson requested a domestic violence temporary restraining order against the ‘Rags’ star while claiming she became frequently aggressive during their relationship, mostly after drinking alcohol.

In the new filing, Jackson accused the singer of punching in the face at a birthday party in 2021 after she took alcoholic beverages. He substantiated the claim by saying Palmer’s friend Lenoria Addison tried to stop Palmer from attacking him along with saying he had texts from the ‘Alice’ star apologizing to him.

He then noted another incident from January 2022 when Palmer hit him during his birthday celebration Cancún. The scuffle allegedly left bruises on his body.

In February 2022, Jackson claimed to get hit by Palmer again when she allegedly choked and hit him inside her home after drinking alcohol.

He also recounted another incident from March 2023 when Palmer lashed out at him for an overflowing shower while calling him a "bitch, a punk ass, and a loser."

Claiming that following such incidents, Palmer would send him several emails - either berating him or apologizing. 

Though Palmer got a restraining order that mandates Jackson to stay 100 yards away from her along with the temporary custody of their son, Jackson is requesting the court to grant him another restraining order that would mandate the actress stay 100 yards away from her.

Fans believe Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson 'were toxic for each other'

Following Jackson's latest petition, internet is left divided as a section of the fans supported Keke Palmer, another side felt there is some merit in Jackson's accusations.

One of the fans commented on Facebook, "I actually believe they were toxic for each other. I think she gave as good as she got. There's no way with her attitude and mouth, she never felt bad enough to hit him first in the midst of an argument."

Someone else chimed in, "They both toxic but she wants to play the victim cause she has 10 seconds of a video accusing him." 

Another person noted, "He's a narcissistic and will blend her for everything   he's so ungrateful she seen like a nice funny woman," while another one observed, "Well she did admit hitting on him on the tape phone call."

SAG-AFTRA member and actor Tyrell Ford however supported Palmer saying, "She’s innocent."

Another fan, nevertheless said, "Her mother admitted that she does. She did also. But I want to see the video and no screen shots. Whose to say she wasn’t being abusive towards him and he was attacking her back. Anything is possible nowadays."

Someone else criticized Jackson saying, "That’s rich! Coming from the guy that Berated her all over social media."

"When nothing else works you point the finger...sorry but due to your behavioral issues we don't believe you at all, and if she did hit you that's from you messing with her!" observed another.

"He is hilarious 😆dude plead your case in court not social media 🙄😬😡," said someone else.

"Steupsssssss. Look boy. Like you want somebody to come and throw you like what you did on the video. Look hush and have some respect," quipped another netizen.
