KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI: Travis Kelce is leaving no stone unturned to cheer Taylor Swift up following the cancelation of her shows in the aftermath of the foiled terrorist attack during one of her Eras Tour concerts in Vienna, Austria.

Kelce, who has often been praised by Swifties for his devotion to the pop superstar, has reportedly spent $5,800 to cheer his lady love after she was left dejected in the wake of the cancelation of her three back-to-back shows in Vienna.

Though the Kansas City Chiefs tight end spent the better part of this summer with the ‘Lover’ singer as she was whizzing through the European cities for her Eras Tour concerts, recently duty called for the NFL star.

As the NFL season is first approaching, the Super Bowl champion had to board a flight back to America for a scheduled training camp, thus missing the opportunity to support Swift in the tense situation.

However, the distance and the time zone difference could not deter Kelce from supporting his girlfriend, as apart from spending hours on phone calls with her, the athlete has also sent her flowers and treats from her favorite places in Europe.

Recently, a source close to Travis Kelce shared with The US Sun that the NFL star spent a total of $5,800 on treats and flowers to help her regain her spirits.

Swift was scheduled to perform at three sold-out shows in Vienna on August 8, 9, and 10. However, after the Austrian authorities foiled a planned attack in the stadium and arrested three teenagers related to ISIS, the shows had to be canceled.

Naturally, Swift was left dejected at the prospect of canceled shows. Sources close to Kelce shared that while the sports star could not join Swift in Europe during this  tense time, he made sure to care for her even from thousands of miles away.

The source recently shared with the outlet, “Travis can’t make it to Europe in that tense time for the tour, after this Austrian situation, which was very scary and made him uncomfortable to see Taylor having to deal with it without him being there to be there for her.”

They added, “He wanted to send her some of her favorite flowers with the red and pink roses, but also the hydrangeas, to show her support and love.”

“He knows she understands that the shows had to be canceled, but she is also very disappointed that the shows can’t happen because she knows her fans have been waiting for so long to see her in Austria, and the situation wasn’t easy to deal with,” added the source.

The source added that while Kelce could not fly immediately to Europe, he did fill her life with “sweetness".

“To give her some sweetness in her week and life, after what happened this week, he sent her some of her favorite flowers and also some of the delights she fell in love with while she was touring in Europe!” added the source.

They revealed that Kelce’s bulk gifts include macarons from Pierre Herme, chocolates from the master chocolatier Jean-Paul Hevin, Portuguese pastels de nata from Lisbon, and cannoli from Milan.

The source added, “Flowers and delights, Taylor loves those simple things and that is what Travis had in mind when he decided to send her that to get her week sweeter after that tense terrorist threat and situation that created a lot of scare and frustration.”

Travis Kelce's decision to lavish Taylor Swift with gifts did not come before he planned to visit Austria himself.

Another insider recently shared with The US Sun, "Travis contacted Taylor very fast and talked with her for a while to show support and see how she was feeling with that tense situation.”

"You can tell that he was helping her feel better and made her laugh, to make this situation and the day she went through end up on a more fun note."

While he was always available on the phone, it was not easy. The insider added, "It’s not easy to deal with that distance, and he wants to be very supportive and [let her know] that she can count on him.”

The insider further dished that despite his training camp underway, Kelce was ready to leave the camp to be with Swift.

"He even suggested flying to Austria to be there for her if she wanted him to do so, even if it was for a day or two, but Taylor is going to keep working and focus on the next dates, with the London concert, to wrap up the Euro part in the best way," revealed the source.
