KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI: Travis Kelce is still adjusting to his newfound fame, thanks to his whirlwind romance with Taylor Swift, but a recent incident involving a fan and his wife has taken it to a whole new level.

In a TikTok clip posted on Sunday, August 4, the 34-year-old tight end, clad in his practice gear, is seen approaching a group of fans and playfully asking, "What are you guys doing in my hallway?" One fan swiftly responded, "You just took my wife's breath away—literally, she almost died."

Quick on his feet, Kelce joked that the fan's wife had simply experienced the "Taylor Swift effect" upon seeing him, which left everyone in splits.

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift grapple with the challenges of a long-distance relationship

Earlier in August, a source revealed that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift found the idea of being apart for a few weeks "totally sickening" as they grapple with the challenges of a long-distance relationship amid NFL preseason and her busy tour schedule.

The insider shared with Life & Style, "Obviously, he can't skip out on training camp to follow her around and he doesn't have more than a day off at a time."

They further said, "She's got tour dates in Europe for the next month before she gets a nice long break, so it would make sense for her to just stay put and finish all her dates and do long distance with him for a few weeks."

The pop star is currently in Europe for her highly successful Eras Tour, which launched in March 2023. The tour will wrap up in December with a concert at Vancouver's BC Place.

Notably, it has become the highest-grossing tour in history, surpassing $1 billion in revenue, and features a setlist that spans all of Swift's 11 studio albums.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship reaches one-year milestone

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's fresh yet fleeting relationship dynamic is a year in the making.

The three-time Super Bowl champ attended one of the Eras Tour concerts at Arrowhead Stadium on July 8, 2023, in hopes of offering the pop icon a friendship bracelet with his number.

On July 26, 2023, Kelce shared on the 'New Heights' podcast that he couldn't accomplish the grand gesture. He said, "I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her shows, because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings," as per USA Today.

When his co-host and brother, Jason Kelce, asked if he meant his phone or his jersey number, the Chiefs tight end shot back with, "You know which one."

Swift later revealed they had been flying under the radar with their dating life before making their relationship official at a Chiefs-Bears game last September.

"We started seeing each other right after that podcast episode," shared the 'Lover' singer with TIME Magazine.

She explained, "We actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I'm grateful for, because we got to get to know each other. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date."

According to Billboard, Swift was first seen supporting Kelce at a Kansas City Chiefs game on September 24, 2023.

This marked a turning point as they began to appear together publicly, including a notable outing at MetLife Stadium on October 1, 2023, where Swift was seen cheering on Kelce alongside friends like Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.

The couple has been spotted together at various events ever since, including the Super Bowl in February, where the pop star showed her support by wearing Chiefs colors and bringing her friends and family to cheer on her beau.
