WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump escalated his criticism of Rep Ilhan Omar (D-MN), stating that all she does is "complain, complain, complain," asserting that “she shouldn't be telling us what to do.”

Trump repeated past criticisms that she was unfit to serve in Congress and should be thrown out of the country.

Trump says he doesn't want to hear from Ilhan Omar

Trump, during a press conference in the Oval Office on Friday, December 12, strongly criticized Omar's contributions to national discourse.

He stated, "She comes over here, she tells the United States of America how it should be run. We don't want to hear from her. I don't want to hear from her."

He continued saying, "I just want to say that there's nothing worse than a person that comes in and does nothing but b**ch and comes from a place where she shouldn't be telling us what to do, she shouldn't be telling us, and everybody agrees with me."

Trump slams Ilhan Omar by asserting Somalia 'has no government' and 'no country'

The president's comments were prompted by a reporter's follow-up question regarding resurfacing allegations of fraud related to Omar's marriage and whether he would support denaturalization for those who commit such acts.

Trump did not address the question of denaturalization but instead slammed Omar by saying, "Well, I think she's very bad for our country. All she does is complain, complain, complain. She comes out of a country where they have no government, they have no military, they have no police, they don't have a country, and they run around killing each other."

Trump vows to stop alleged fraud carried out by Somalis in Minnesota

The president then focused on alleged corruption in Minnesota involving the Somali community. He said, "And what's happening in Minnesota with Somalia, where billions of dollars is being stolen, right like candy from a baby, we're not going to let that go on."

Trump further expressed confidence that Republican figures in the state, such as Representatives Tom Emmer and Pete Stauber, "are going to stop it, and they're going to be given the authority to stop it because this country is not going to put up with it anymore."

He had previously suggested that he "doesn't think Rep Tom Emmer particularly wants to hear" from Omar, but then jokingly advised the reporter, "But don't say it because I don't want to get you in trouble, okay? Just be nice and easy, all right? I'll do it for you, bud. That part I'll do."
