LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Donald Trump arrived in the intensely hot Las Vegas on Sunday, June 9, for his inaugural rally after his conviction in the hush money trial, employing severe language about illegal immigration and sporadically addressing his legal issues.

At an outdoor gathering in a park distanced six miles from the Las Vegas Strip, Trump labeled Nevada—a crucial swing state—as a "dumping ground" for unauthorized immigrants and criticized President Joe Biden for initiating a "nightmare" with his border policies, which he claimed were devastating to Black and Hispanic Americans.

Donald Trump criticized Joe Biden's executive order on immigration

While addressing the crowd in Las Vegas, Trump said, “The people of Nevada have had a front-row seat to Joe Biden’s evil and criminal obliteration of our southern border. It was criminal what he’s done.”

The rally was held shortly after Biden declared an executive order on immigration, which would close the US-Mexico border if daily crossings surpass 2,500 individuals, Politico reported.

Trump criticized the order as a "little plan", labeling it as supportive of invasion, child trafficking, women trafficking, human trafficking, drug dealers, and illegal immigration.

He also mentioned cases of violent crimes purportedly committed by individuals unauthorized to reside in the US.

Trump remarked, "It’s weak, it’s ineffective, it’s bulls**t what he signed," and then his fans broke into a chant of "Bulls**t, bulls**t, bulls**t."

The day these remarks were made, the Trump campaign initiated the rebranding of its Latino outreach program, changing from "Latinos for Trump" to "Latino Americans for Trump" in a state where the Latino population forms a crucial and influential voting group as Republicans persist in gaining ground among Latino voters.

Trump has vowed that if he is re-elected, he will execute mass deportations, terminate birthright citizenship, and reinstate his ban on entry to the US from certain Muslim-majority countries.

Additionally, in February, he seemingly urged Congressional Republicans to spurn a bipartisan immigration agreement endorsed by Biden.

Donald Trump has labeled first family as 'Biden crime family'

On Sunday, Trump labeled the first family as the "Biden crime family" and mentioned that Biden retained classified documents post-vice presidency, although no charges were recommended by a special counsel.

Currently, Trump faces charges for purportedly retaining classified documents and obstructing the related investigation. In contrast, Trump has minimized the convictions of individuals involved in the January 6 Capitol breach, referring to them as victims and "J6 warriors."

Trump frequently boasted about his ability to endure the desert heat, which soared to 99 degrees, even as he "sweated like a dog" and lamented the malfunctioning of his teleprompter.

During his speech, he ridiculed Biden's mental sharpness, at one juncture performing an exaggerated imitation of the president's walk, and at another, derisively enumerating reporters to question, pausing mockingly when asked about his preferred ice cream flavor.

“He’s a corrupt, very dumb person. He’s a low-IQ individual,” Trump stated about Biden, quickly adding that his criticism of his opponent, who is only three and a half years his senior, was not based on age concerns.

“There’s just something missing there,” he said. “There always has been.”

Near the conclusion of his address, Trump broadly encouraged his supporters to participate in the primary election.

Internet believes 'Trump doesn't keep his word'

As soon as the news surfaced on social media, people shared their opinions on the same.

One social media user wrote, "Trump embraced "harsh immigration rhetoric" in 2016, too. Don't worry about it. Trump doesn't keep his word."

Another added, "Enforced immigration law is the duty of the President. It’s how you protect your country’s sovereignty and keep citizens safe. Only allow legal and monitored immigration."

Another person wrote, "At least, half of Vegas work force are immigrants."

"Will his wife be first??" one individual asked.
