Victoria Robinson's restraining order request against Tom Sandoval denied amid abuse allegations
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Victoria Robinson reportedly filed for a temporary restraining order against Tom Sandoval, accusing him of abuse.
However, her request was denied by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge on Monday, July 6. Robinson and the 42-year-old TV personality were romantically involved from January 2024 to June 2026.
Why Victoria Robinson's restraining order was denied
According to reports, the model filed her request after Sandoval first accused her of abuse and obtained a temporary restraining order against her on June 25. Robinson’s request was denied because Sandoval already had an active domestic violence restraining order against her.
In her filing, Robinson accused the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ star of physically and verbally abusing her. She cited several alleged incidents, claiming he pushed “me down a flight of stairs in his home, pushing me to the ground at a hotel in Nashville, Tennessee, while visiting my terminally ill grandfather.”
Victoria Robinson cites father's safety concerns
Robinson also described a violent June 3 incident involving herself, her father, Will, and Sandoval. She alleged that the musician “grabbed me and began twisting my arm, trying to gain control of my phone.”
She further claimed that her ex “violently and maliciously” threw her father into a lit fire pit. Explaining why she sought the restraining order, Robinson added, “Based on this incident, as well as Mr Sandoval’s previous physical and verbal attacks on me, I am scared that Mr Sandoval will attempt to further injure my father in the future.”
Tom Sandoval claims he was abuse victim
Meanwhile, after the 33-year-old's request was denied, a representative for Sandoval told PEOPLE, “It’s no surprise that Victoria’s request for a restraining order was immediately denied.”
“The court granted Tom a restraining order and an immediate move-out order against both Victoria and her father after police reviewed all the video evidence from that night, including footage showing Victoria punching Tom in the face,” they stated, referring to the June 3 incident.
The spokesperson further asserted that throughout Sandoval and Robinson’s relationship, he never acted violently toward her.
“Instead, he lived in fear of her repeated physical attacks and unpredictable behavior. He will show he was the victim of ongoing physical and emotional abuse, and has substantial evidence documenting what he endured, which will be presented through the legal process,” they added.
A hearing in the case is scheduled for July 16.
