Apparently, a 2019 episode of the animated show titled "The Great Phatsby" has many convinced it predicted the extravagant parties that Diddy became notorious for.

The two-part episode, which aired in January 2017 as part of Season 28, introduced a character that bears a striking resemblance to the music mogul who throws a lavish, exclusive party where all the guests are decked out in—you guessed it—all white.

Fans of the show and other netizens have been quick to draw comparisons in light of Diddy's ongoing legal troubles.

Internet was buzzing on Saturday, September 28, with snippets of 'The Simpsons' episode. Netizens wasted no time in making connections to Sean "Diddy" Comb's parties, which have been under scrutiny owing to his recent arrest

One said, "Wow weird," and another noted, "Woah they 'predict' everything." 

"How do they keep doing that!?" wondered a person, while someone else added, "Well, would you look at that." 

"The Simpsons have been right about everything," declared an individual. "They didn’t predict, they are running the script," quipped one more. 

'The Great Phatsby' and its parallels to real life events

The plot of "The Great Phatsby" centers on Mr Burns, who is yearning to relive his younger days only to be conned by a music mogul in the process. Throughout the episode, Burns seeks revenge on this artist with the help of Homer, Bart, and a rapper named Jazzy James.

While the episode's main storyline has little to do with Diddy’s life directly, it’s the party scenes that have caught everyone’s attention. Several elements in the episode seem to mirror Diddy's famous white parties. 

These include the all-white dress code that has become a signature feature of the rapper's parties; throwing a party filled with A-list celebrities — much like the real-life guest lists that have included names like Leonardo DiCaprio, Kim Kardashian, and Paris Hilton; extravagant venues where Diddy’s parties are often held, particularly in places like the Hamptons.

It's worth noting that Diddy's white parties have been a part of celebrity culture for more than two decades.

According to Elle, the first of these parties took place on September 7, 1998, at Diddy’s house in the Hamptons. The guest list was a mix of actors, musicians, and socialites, and Diddy himself has reminisced about how surreal that first party was.

"I had the craziest mix [of guests]: some of my boys from Harlem, Leonardo DiCaprio after he’d just finished Titanic. I had socialites there and relatives from down south. There were 200 people sitting out here, just having a down-home cookout," once recalled the rapper. 

The last all-white party, which was co-hosted by Ashton Kutcher, took place on the Fourth of July, 2009, in Beverly Hills.  

A dark cloud over Sean 'Diddy' Combs

Of late Diddy's parties have dominated the news cycle for much darker reasons. Earlier this month, Diddy was arrested on multiple charges including sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy.

Federal prosecutors allege that Diddy led a criminal enterprise that involved physical and sexual abuse, drugging victims, and using violence and intimidation at his infamous "freak off" parties.

During raids at his homes in Los Angeles and Miami, authorities reportedly found an array of disturbing supplies, including over a thousand bottles of baby oil and various narcotics.

Diddy is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where he is under special protection, as per ABC News.
