WASHINGTON, DC: First Lady Jill Biden slammed the "horrible" Republicans on the House Oversight Committee for showing Hunter Biden's nude photographs during their hearing, Daily Mail reported.

In an interview on MSNBC's 'Morning Joe' aired on Thursday, January 11, anchor Mika Brzezinski specifically pointed out the display of Hunter's nude images by the House GOP.

The First Lady responded in one word, "horrible."

"What they are doing to Hunter is cruel, and I'm really proud of how he has rebuilt his life after addiction," Jill then added. "I love my son. It's hurt my grandchildren. That's what I'm so concerned about, that it's affecting their lives as well."

Her comments came after the First Son crashed the Oversight Committee's contempt hearing on Wednesday, January 10.

Hunter Biden's nude photographs displayed for a second time

As reported by Daily Beast, after the First Son abruptly left the hearing room on January 10, Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene displayed several of his nude photos, saying, "Democrats should not be offended by pictures that black out. They should be offended by actual human trafficking."

This is the second time Greene has attacked Hunter by showing his nude images in the Committee Hearing; in a July 2023 hearing, she did the same under the pretext she was trying to prove his engagement in sex trafficking.

According to a Time Magazine report, photos and videos of Hunter, allegedly taken from his confiscated laptop, which was given for repair to Delaware computer repairman John Paul Mac Isaac, circulated online, depicting him in compromising situations, including nudity, drug use, and sexual activity.

Internet reacts to Jill Biden's remarks

Outraged at the First Lady defending her stepson, netizens slammed her, saying the latter brought this upon himself.

One user said, "Hunter did it to himself. Who are you kidding?"

Another remarked, "He took the pics and video himself if anyone is to blame it is Hunter himself."

"He did it to himself," read one response. A fourth user added, "Photos are public domain if posted online. Get over it Jill."

Someone else said, "So Jill Biden Prefers Truth Is Not Exposed? Hunter Brought All This Upon Himself!"

"He made this bed, now let him lie in it. Actions always have consequences," said another user.
