'The View's Whoopi Goldberg almost swears on-air amid slamming Fox News for latest Taylor Swift report
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News anchor Jesse Watters recently shared a report on Taylor Swift, where he wondered if the popstar is a “Pentagon psyop asset.” Swift was also trolled in response to this report by Watters, however, ‘The View’ hosts weren’t too impressed.
On Thursday, ‘The View’ panel shared their take on Fox News’ report on Swift, where Whoopi Goldberg in particular took subtle digs at Fox News, and almost swore on-air, quickly made up for it before she continued to share her response and defended Swift on the daytime talk show.

Moderator and co-host Whoopi Goldberg introduced the topic to ‘The View’ panel and said, “You know, there are real issues impacting millions of Americans—reproductive rights, racism, healthcare costs, income disparity, and gun violence just to name a few."
"But this is what the Fox News folks wanted viewers to be worried about during their primetime broadcast on Tuesday. Take a look,” she added.

‘The View’ then played part of Fox News’ report on Taylor Swift, anchored by Jesse Watters during his Primetime slot. Watters said, “Have you ever wondered why or how she blew up like this? Well, around four years ago, the Pentagon Psychological Operations Unit floated turning Taylor Swift into an asset during a NATO meeting. A psyop for combating online misinformation.”

He also added, “She posted the link to the Vote.org. Hundreds of thousands of young Taylor Swift fans all of a sudden registered to vote. I wonder who got to her from the White House or wherever.”

After this clip ended, there was a round of laughter from the panel and the live audience on ‘The View’ when Goldberg continued, “You know, I have to say, when we talk about snowflakes, you know, they always talk about, you people worry about the weirdest stuff.”
“She got people to go out and vote, including probably, all kinds of people that you'd rather not have voted,” said Goldberg.
She continued, “But you know what, we're going to continue to suggest that folks who have the wherewithal to say, ‘Hey if you want to make a change in the world, go ahead and go out and vote.’ That's our biggest thing. If she can get people to do that, why would you say that's a bad thing or talk about it like you're disparaging it?”
As Goldberg’s voice got louder in the heat of the moment, she said, “What kind of bull-” but stopped herself right there and paused for a moment before she smiled at the camera, as her co-hosts prompted her, “What kind of…?”
Goldberg then corrected herself and said, “Baloney. What kind of baloney is that,” she then turned to face someone off-camera and said, “Is that good? You happy? Okay!”
