NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: After Fox News host Jesse Watters criticized Mark Hamill for meeting with President Joe Biden on May 4, also known as 'Star Wars Day' due to its connection to the franchise's catchphrase "may the Force be with you," the actor turned the criticism right back at the host.

With a Twitter following exceeding 5 million, Mark Hamill, known for his sharp criticism of Donald Trump and support for President Biden, expressed his gratitude for being invited to meet "the most legislatively successful president in my lifetime."

Mark Hamill's witty response to Watter's 'C-List' comment

Following Hamill and Biden's meeting, Watters posed the question, "What is he now?" in reference to Hamill, renowned for his portrayal of Luke Skywalker in the iconic movie series.

In the iconic film 'Star Wars: A New Hope' released in 1977, Hamill portrayed Luke Skywalker, a farm boy discovering the ways of the Jedi from Obi-Wan Kenobi, an aged Jedi master.

Jumping ahead to May 10, it seemed that Hamill was once again taking on the role of a youthful apprentice, this time under the guidance of the 81-year-old President Biden.

“I called him ‘Mr President.' He said, ‘You can call me Joe.’ I said, ‘Can I call you Joe-B-Wan Kenobi?’ He liked that.”

“A b-list? C-list? Not a good look,” said Watters in response to Hamill's conversation. 

As critics on X (formerly Twitter) rushed to support the "iconic" actor, whose IMDb profile showcases his continuous involvement in the entertainment industry, the actor addressed the insult head-on. 

“Actually, I am considered a D-list actor,” he wrote. “The D is for ‘delightful.’”
