Internet swiftly shuts down Nikki Haley after she says she's not 'thin-skinned' like Donald Trump
SEABROOK, NORTH HAMPSHIRE: Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley said she is "not thin-skinned" like her rival White House hopeful Donald Trump reported The Hill.
In a conversation with CNN's Dana Bash on Sunday, January 21, Haley said, "I don't judge people. I focus on policy that's going to make America stronger. I don't take politics personally. I'm not thin-skinned like Donald Trump. I think that people don't want that."
"They want a leader who's going to bring out the best in people and get our country going forward," she added.
I interviewed @nikkihaley in NH live on @cnn moments after @RonDeSantis suspended his campaign & endorsed Trump. "I don't take politics personally. I'm not thin-skinned like Donald Trump," she told me after DeSantis accused her of representing "warmed over corporatism." pic.twitter.com/73eWi9oPTG

The former South Carolina governor also commented on Ron DeSantis's jab at her while announcing his exit from the presidential race. The ex-candidate said Haley represented a "repackaged form of warmed-over corporatism. She took a rather soft approach, stating, "I don't take politics personally."
The race to grab the GOP nomination for the 2024 presidential election has reduced to a two-person race between frontrunner Trump and Haley. After the single-digit polling in New Hampshire, DeSantis pulled out of the race on Sunday and endorsed the former President.
Nikki Haley says she always wanted a one-on-one race
With DeSantis's withdrawal, Trump has turned his entire focus on Haley. Resorting to showering accusations about her campaign findings and mocking her birthname, the former President has left no stone unturned to get the GOP presidential nomination.

However, Haley seems to be confident. Revealing her wish to fight against Trump one-on-one, she said, "There's two people in this race. That's what we wanted all along. We are going to keep on going."
Though the former President tasted a resounding victory in the Iowa caucus, Haley is giving him tough competition in the upcoming New Hampshire primary.
Highlighting her self-confidence in the primaries in Granite state, her home state, South Carolina, and Super Tuesday, the White House hopeful added, "I'm used to people underestimating me. It's always fun. But there were 14 people in this race, and now there are two. I'm [going to] finish this so Joe Biden and Donald Trump are not an issue at all."
Taking a dig at Trump and Biden's age, she said they should be put in the past and that the country deserved to move forward.
Internet ridicules Nikki Haley for attacking Trump
Previously mocked for her too-late attacks against Trump, Haley's latest statements also did not receive positive affirmation from the internet. Some users claimed she would also endorse the GOP frontrunner, saying she was taking out the victim card.
One user remarked, "Sheβs gonna bend the knee."
Another user wrote, "She has already brought out the victim card and itβs only January."
