NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: In a fiery video rant that has gone viral, Hollywood icon Jon Voight once again voiced his unwavering support for former President Donald Trump, portraying him as the only one capable of saving nations like Israel and Ukraine from ongoing conflicts, as per Mediaite.

The Academy Award-winning actor's passionate plea, filled with exaggerated language and unsupported claims, has sparked widespread criticism and ridicule across social media platforms.

Jon Voight praises Donald Trump as the sole figure who can bring peace to war-torn regions

Voight, known for his roles in classics like 'Midnight Cowboy' and 'Deliverance,' has long been a vocal Trump supporter.

In the video posted on Wednesday, April 17, he didn't hold back, lambasting the "barbaric animals" he claims are threatening the United States and praising Trump as the sole figure who can bring peace to war-torn regions.

"This land of Israel is in danger. The land of the free, the USA, is in danger. Let us all come together and make these countries safe again. We must stop this war. We must stop this darkness, this negative plague that is lingering. How? Vote for the only president who can save these countries once and for all," exclaimed Voight.

Voight's latest endorsement of Trump echoes his previous statements, including comparing the former president's struggles to those of Jesus and predicting a "magnificent triumph" if Trump regains power.

In the video, Voight asserted that only Trump could "wipe out this swamp and bring glory, bring justice, and he will help save Israel."

The actor's rant comes as President Joe Biden pushes Congress to approve a foreign aid bill that would allow funding for Ukraine and Israel.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) has faced criticism and internal party pressure, including threats of a motion to remove him from his position, for splitting the aid package into multiple separate bills.

While Voight did not offer specifics on Trump's methods for achieving "peace" in other countries, he claimed the former president alone could "overrule barbaric animals destroying our country, the USA."

Voight's enthusiastic display of support for Trump follows his appearance at the Mar-a-Lago resort last week. The actor and former president have a close relationship, highlighted by Trump presenting Voight with the National Medal of Arts in 2019.
