Alec Baldwin’s marriage crisis revealed as he’s ‘at boiling point’ after Hilaria put him down publicly
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Alec Baldwin might’ve played some tough guys on screen—but at home, it’s a different story.
The actor’s marriage to Hilaria Baldwin has reportedly turned into an absolute nightmare. Word is, he’s about this close to pulling the plug.
Sources say the 67-year-old star of '30 Rock' is getting dragged through the mud — and not just by the tabloids. His 41-year-old wife has been publicly putting him in his place, leaving Alec looking more like a “henpecked wimp” than Hollywood royalty.
“Alec is rolling with the punches, trying to smile it off and even making light of the whole henpecked shtick,” a source spilled to Radar Online. “But deep down, he’s at boiling point.”
The rage is apparently bubbling just beneath the surface. “It’s taking all his acting skills not to show how frustrated he is. Fact is, Hilaria stomps all over him and clearly gets a big kick out of putting him down in public," they said.

Things hit a whole new level of awkward at the March 11 Planet Hollywood opening party, which the couple was hosting.
While Alec tried to chime in during an interview, Hilaria wasn’t having it. She shut him down hard, right there on the red carpet.
“Oh my God, when I’m talking, you’re not talking. No, when I’m talking, you’re not talking,” the 5'3" yoga instructor snapped at her 6-foot-tall husband.
Alec tried to smooth things over with an apology, but Hilaria doubled down. “This is why we’ll just have to cut him out of the show," she snarked.
“Hilaria’s got him in the palm of her hand, and she’s way too headstrong to argue with,” the insider said. “This emasculating treatment makes for a miserable vibe behind the scenes, especially when he’s forced to go along with these humiliating antics.”
Their new family reality series, 'The Baldwins,' has been flopping with both critics and viewers. According to insiders, it wasn’t even his idea.
“He did it because of Hilaria,” the source said. “She’s way more into the spotlight than he is these days.”
The 'Rust' tragedy still haunts Alec Baldwin
Of course, the elephant in the room is still the 'Rust' shooting — something that changed the Baldwins’ lives forever.
In October 2021, tragedy struck when Alec was holding a prop gun on the set of 'Rust' that discharged, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza.
Alec was charged with involuntary manslaughter in January 2023, pleaded not guilty, and had the charges dropped by April.
Alec faced another indictment later, which was eventually dismissed by a judge. He’s since filed a lawsuit, accusing the prosecution of malicious prosecution and civil rights violations.
“Even though he eventually got off, it’s a scene that will haunt him for the rest of his days,” a source said.
During the premiere of 'The Baldwins', Hilaria opened up about the fallout. “The past three years have been a significant chunk of my children’s lives,” she shared. “Our older ones were much younger but have had the awareness because of their age to be able to understand what’s going on. The youngest three don’t know a life without this.”
Alec noted how "everything was so different before" the tragedy. "Our lives are very, very different. Our children have been forced to recognize that. They’ve been forced to deal with that, with us, in their own way," he lamented.
Hilaria added, “They’ve had some really unfortunate realizations about things that are going on. Life will forever be different. Halyna lost her life in the most unthinkable tragedy, a son lost his mom. We are going to feel and carry this pain forever. This will be a part of our family story.”
