LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA:  Anna Delvey, the notorious socialite-turned-reality star, has offered her unique brand of gratitude to fans following her exit from 'Dancing With the Stars' on Thursday, September 26, as reported by Us Weekly.

In true Delvey fashion, she shared a cheeky Instagram Story after being eliminated from the competition.

Anna Delvey thanks fans for ‘nothing’

Anna Delvey posted a selfie writing, "Grateful for all my amazing supporters who are smart enough to recognize and appreciate humor. Obsessed with all your DMs and posts. Love and thanks for nothing!"

Her parting message echoed her viral one-word response when cohost Julianne Hough asked what she would take away from her time on the show. Delvey, 33, quipped simply, “Nothing,” causing mixed reactions both on and off the set.

Delvey and her dance partner, Ezra Sosa, 23, were eliminated in a double elimination alongside Tori Spelling and her partner, Pasha Pashkov. Despite the low scores and early exit, Delvey's short and snappy answer garnered attention for its unapologetic tone.

“There you have it, absolutely nothing,” Hough, 36, replied on-air, while co-host Alfonso Ribeiro chimed in, “You had fun, stop it.”

Judge Carrie Ann Inaba expressed disappointment in Delvey’s lack of gratitude, telling Entertainment Weekly, "That was dismissive not only of the opportunity she was given, of her wonderful and supportive partner Ezra in his debut season, but also of all of us who work on the show — from the dancers to behind the scenes to the creative team.”

“We all put in the effort to give her a fair opportunity. But I don’t think she could see that and it’s a shame. A little gratitude could have changed the narrative.”

Sosa, however, wasn't surprised by Delvey's response. “I knew she was going to say something very iconic and something very Anna Delvey with her exit,” he told Extra.

“It’s very typical. We would expect nothing less of her.” Later, he clarified via Instagram, suggesting Delvey was referring to not taking anything away physically from the experience.

Anna Delvey's emotional moment on 'Dancing with the Stars'

Ezra Sosa, Anna Delvey's partner on 'Dancing with the Stars', disclosed that the controversial contestant was found crying in a bathroom following their premiere performance. The "fake heiress," who has faced considerable backlash since her casting, struggled with the negative comments surrounding her participation in the show.

Sosa explained that after their first dance, producers had difficulty locating Delvey. "They finally found her in the bathroom crying," he shared, noting the emotional toll the criticism took on her. “She was in tears. I had never witnessed her in that state before, and it truly saddened me."

Sosa emphasized the stark contrast between his positive experience and Delvey's struggles. "I felt so much love from everyone, including my partner, but she wasn’t receiving the same," he said. The professional dancer acknowledged the controversial nature of Delvey’s past but urged viewers to see a different side of her.

"I know what she did was really controversial and was not right. I can never justify that for her or anyone in her life," he stated. “But the person I'm getting to know during rehearsals isn’t the one everyone sees in the media."

Sosa concluded by advocating for Delvey, asserting, "No one deserves the amount of hate she’s getting right now. She deserves a second chance." He encouraged fans to tune in next week to see how much she has improved.
