Ariana Grande likes post about getting 'healthier' amid scrutiny over her weight
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ariana Grande is under public scrutiny again, this time after she 'liked' a social media post about getting 'healthier' amid ongoing discussion about her weight. On Wednesday, August 5, the singer liked a post by New York-based psychotherapist, relationship expert, and author Terri Cole.
The post featured the text, "Unfortunately, I can confirm that not everyone will like the healthier version of you." Grande's social media activity came days after her representative said she would be "stepping back" from the spotlight following months of public scrutiny surrounding her appearance and health.

The 33-year-old singer liked Teri Cole's post but did not leave a comment. The video showed the NYC psychotherapist applying lipstick in front of a mirror alongside a lengthy message.
The caption began with, "Growth certainly has a way of shifting relationships, and that tension can be awkward to deal with sometimes".
"There are going to be people who celebrate the healthier version of you..." "And you might have those who miss the version of you that was stretched thin, keeping everyone else happy + comfortable."

The post also encouraged viewers to keep growing and prioritize themselves despite others' opinions. It further stated, "The people who are meant to be in your circle will love and appreciate your growth, not just the parts of you that make everything comfortable or convenient."
Ariana Grande plans 'much-deserved break' after 'Eternal Sunshine' tour
After completing her 'Eternal Sunshine' tour, Grande said she would take a break from public-facing work amid continued scrutiny over her appearance. The announcement came after the release of her album 'Petal'.
As a result, she will no longer be part of the upcoming West End revival of 'Sunday in the Park With George', where she was set to star alongside her 'Wicked' co-star Jonathan Bailey.
Grande's representative said, "Ariana will be taking a step back from visibility after she completes the Eternal Sunshine Tour."
“She looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny,” the rep added.
“This tour has been a beautiful experience for her. She loves her fans and has loved every minute of this tour so much.”
