HOUSTON, TEXAS: Beyonce's father, Mathew Knowles, has come to his daughter’s defense after former President Donald Trump falsely claimed she was booed at a Kamala Harris rally in Houston.

Trump alleged during a speech in Green Bay, Wisconsin, that both Beyonce and Harris faced a hostile reception at the event due to Beyonce not performing.

Mathew, who attended the rally last Friday, quickly dismissed Trump’s remarks, telling TMZ, “I can unequivocally say no one was booing. That's just a lie.” He added that while everyone is entitled to their perspective, “They don’t have the right to lie.”

At the rally, Beyonce made a powerful appearance, not as a performer but as a mother advocating for women’s empowerment and a hopeful vision for the future. While some attendees may have hoped for a musical number, she instead chose to focus on her message, which was met with cheers and applause from the audience.

Knowles also described the rally as a positive experience, noting the diverse turnout as a promising glimpse of America’s future.

In a recent rally held in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Donald Trump took an aim at Beyonce over her decision to skip performing at Vice President Kamala Harris’s Houston event. Trump alleged that the audience at the event was disappointed with the singer, who endorsed Harris but refrained from singing, leaving fans without a live performance.

Referring to her appearance, Trump remarked, “They got Beyonce. They said Beyonce’s coming to sing, and she came but didn’t sing,” criticizing her for simply making an appearance without delivering her hit songs.

His comments follow a history of public spats with musicians, many of whom have refused to let him use their music, including Beyonce’s track 'Freedom.'

Wearing an orange and yellow visibility vest, Trump took a further jab and humorously added, “We don’t need Beyoncé; we don’t need anybody… all you got is me, and I don’t have a guitar.”

Beyonce made a powerful appearance at the Houston rally, where she encouraged Americans to envision a brighter, more inclusive future. Despite former President Donald Trump’s negative portrayal of her rally attendance, Beyonce’s message reportedly received enthusiastic applause, with fans responding positively to her endorsement of Harris.

Addressing the crowd, Beyonce emphasized the importance of creating a world of limitless possibilities for young women, stating, “It’s time for America to sing a new song.”

She clarified that her presence was not as a global superstar but as a mother, inspired by the potential for “no ceilings, no limitations” for future generations.

Following Beyonce’s public endorsement, Trump was quick to dismiss her support at his Green Bay rally, deriding her with a remark that came off as both skeptical and mocking. “They got Beyonce—and you know Beyonce—Beyonce, ugh,” he commented, showing his ongoing frustration with celebrity endorsements for his political opponent.
