LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Blake Lively’s four children, James, 10, Inez, eight, Betty, five, and Olin, two are reportedly "traumatized" and are suffering emotional distress due to the ongoing legal battle between their mother and Justin Baldoni.

The actress stated in her amended complaint, filed in a New York federal court on Tuesday, February 18, that the situation has “emotionally uprooted in ways that have substantially impacted” their well-being, according to Page Six.

The lawsuit, initially filed in December 2024, accuses Baldoni of harassment and attempting to damage Lively’s reputation.

In the latest court filing, Lively further alleged that the actor made other women “uncomfortable” on the set of 'It Ends With Us.'

Her harassment claims against Baldoni have been met with strong denials while Baldoni’s lawsuit includes released text messages and allegations that Lively and Reynolds undermined his role as director of the film.

Ryan Reynolds is ‘mentally, physically, and professionally’ affected

The legal filing also highlights the toll the controversy has taken on Blake Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, who has reportedly suffered both mentally and professionally.

The 'Deadpool' star has not publicly commented on the lawsuit but subtly referenced it during the 'Saturday Night Live' 50th anniversary special when hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler asked how he was doing.

He responded with a cheeky, “Great! Why, what have you heard?”

Blake Lively’s struggles with anxiety and trauma

Blake Lively has reportedly struggled to maintain her personal and professional life, experiencing intense anxiety and emotional distress.

The court documents claim that Lively sometimes finds it difficult to get out of bed and has been hesitant to appear in public.

“She frequently chooses not to venture outside,” the filing stated, adding that she has suffered from grief, fear, and extreme anxiety.

Additionally, the 37-year-old actress has reported experiencing “repeated and painful physical symptoms.”

Justin Baldoni’s legal counterattack

In January, Justin Baldoni responded with his own lawsuit against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, seeking $400 million in damages.

Lively’s legal team dismissed the countersuit as “another chapter in the abuser playbook.”

Baldoni’s attorney, however, called the claims “preposterous.”

Despite the ongoing battle, Lively and Reynolds made a public appearance together at the 'SNL' special, with a body language expert noting that Lively exuded “confidence and defiance” despite appearing “nervous.”

As the legal drama continues, both families are caught in the crossfire.

Baldoni shares two children, Maiya, nine, and Maxwell, seven, with his wife, Emily Baldoni.
