Body language expert says Lauren Sanchez appears to be ‘in control’ of her marriage with Jeff Bezos

VENICE, ITALY: A body language expert has claimed that Lauren Sanchez seems to be “in control” of her marriage with Jeff Bezos.
The pair tied the knot on Friday, June 27, in Venice, Italy, which was witnessed by a number of high-profile names.
Following the ceremony, the couple “showboated” themselves as newlyweds, and despite all the protests that were going on at the time in the city against them, it did not affect the former journalist’s confidence a bit, as reported by the Irish Star.

Body language expert says Jeff Bezos’ wedding to Lauren Sanchez ‘was the topping-off ceremony’
Body language expert Judi James first commented on Jeff Bezos’ “Vulcan Salute” as she noted that it “suggests a ‘Live long and prosper’ message to fellow geeks around the planet in this non-verbal announcement of marital happiness.”

“The transformation from shy-looking geek to muscular alpha hasn’t happened overnight but Bezos’ body language here suggests his wedding to Laura was the topping-off ceremony,” she explained.

James further mentioned, “As Lauren appears looking demure and slightly cute in her straw hat and shades, Jeff suddenly salutes the fans, even adopting the pose of a Disney prince as they board their water taxi, holding her arm out to present his new bride to the world in a gesture of utter pride and a desire to protect while using the other to perform a sweeping gesture that mimics the ancient, gallant ritual of removing a hat and sweeping it into a proffered bow to honour a woman’s arrival.”
Lauren Sanchez switched from her usual extroverted mode to act like a traditional ‘blushing bride’
The expert then went on to decode the meaning behind the Amazon CEO’s body language.

“His chin is raised and his chest puffed and his cheeks become rounded into the apple cheek shape of authentic happiness as he performs a symmetric, Duchenne smile,” James shared.
James then focused on Sanchez, who changed her Instagram username to add Bezos shortly after the wedding, as she stated, “Lauren has switched from her own normally extrovert mode into something more demure and coy, like the traditional ‘blushing bride.’”
The body language expert added, “She’s suddenly less on display here, with her large hat brim and her shades hiding her face and her handbag pulled up in front of her torso to act as a partial barrier.”

Lauren Sanchez appears to be ‘confidently in quiet control’ of her marriage
Judi James also asserted that the way the 55-year-old former TV anchor's “fingers clench and unclench [her bag] make this what is called a ‘baby wave’, that would normally suggest shyness and a desire to be liked.”
One of the richest men on earth, however, “seems to want to showboat a little, turning round to engage with all the fans but he is reluctant to let his wife’s hand drop, switching hands instead as he does so,” James claimed.

But she also pointed out that despite Sanchez’s appearing “resolutely demure,” there were “two signs that hint she is still confidently in quiet control.”
“Her wide-mouth smile is the ‘Cheshire cat’ or ‘cat that got the cream’ grin of sweet satisfaction and her hand is placed on top in the clasp, which presumably also allows her to show off her new ring,” James mentioned.
