NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: In the aftermath of Stormy Daniels' testimony against former President Donald Trump during the hush money trial, actress Mia Farrow voiced her full support for the adult film actress, as reported by Breitbart.

Farrow's words of support, describing Daniels as "a strong woman who may not want to appear to be weak or a victim," attracted sharp and intense criticism from users across social media platforms.

"Stormy is a strong woman who may not want to appear to be weak or a victim, but what she described seemed very like a sexual assault," Farrow penned in a recent post on X (formerly Twitter).

Farrow's controversial comments followed Daniels' much-anticipated testimony, which Judge Juan Merchan criticized as overly detailed and ineffective in persuading jurors. Despite restricting the jury's use of Daniels' testimony, Judge Merchan denied Trump's defense team's motion for a mistrial.

Trump himself had hailed Tuesday, May 7, as a "great day" in court, referencing his critics to emphasize the apparent absence of evidence against him.

"NBC Today Show [said], 'The challenge is that there is no smoking gun, no email, or tape to prove the president's intent,'" Trump informed reporters prior to Daniels' testimony.

"That's what they're trying to get us on: the fact that we call a legal expense a legal expense. The legal expense that we paid was put down as a legal expense. There's nothing else you could say," Trump explained.

Comedian Kathy Griffin also recently weighed in, asserting that Daniels "does not and will not lie. Believe her," in response to a post by lawyer and Los Angeles Times columnist Harry Litman, who speculated about Daniels potentially mentioning an "element of assault" involving Trump.
