LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Candace Owens has a lot of bitterness for Beyonce and her mother Tina Knowles as she called the iconic singer “unauthentic”.

The political commentator slammed the singer after Knowles called her out on social media for spreading fake news about her daughter.

On her 'Candace' podcast, Owens said, as per Billboard, “I was having a totally normal weekend, went to the farmers market with the kids, the toy store, and then someone texted me and said that Beyoncé’s mommy came for me on Instagram.”

She further shared, “I said, ‘What? Excuse me? Tina Knowles? What have I done to deserve this?’ This is so wrong.”

Candace Owens says she does not ‘respect’ Beyonce

The 35-year-old pundit did not stop there as she took a direct hit at the ‘Single Ladies’ hitmaker.

Beyonce hasn’t had a good album since Four… So Beyonce and her mommy targeted me – this is my belief – because I am emblematic of something that frustrates them. It’s a changing economy in the world. What has always worked for them in the past is no longer interesting to the public,” she asserted.

Owens continued, “This is an economy where authenticity pays. Beyonce does not remember what it means to be authentic anymore. She’s been playing a role of a queen for so long. She’s grown accustomed to visit the commonwealth every four years.”

“Beyonce is used to black women bowing down to her. There’s nothing [Beyonce does] that I respect,” the mother-of-three added.

Tina Knowles claimed Beyonce ‘did not receive a penny’ from Harris’ campaign

This came after Knowles had clarified in an Instagram post that Beyonce being “paid 10 million dollars” for a Kamala Harris rally was false.

Sharing a photo of an Instagram post from Candace Owens' podcast handle that reportedly spread the fake news, the 70-year-old businesswoman noted, “So this has been flagged on Instagram as fake news and taken down. It's called False Information. Sadly other platforms with a lack of integrity still have it up.”

She mentioned, “The lie is that Beyonce was paid 10 million dollars to speak at a rally in Houston for Vice President Kamala Harris. When In Fact : Beyonce did not receive a penny for speaking at a Presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harrris's Rally in Houston.”

Knowles also called out the fake news for tarnishing Harris’ image.

“They are not only lying and disrespecting Beyonce's name but they are trying to further discredit the power of our vice president! When does the lies and rumors stop? Of course you won't see this in the news !!!!!” the fashion designer added.
