Soon after meeting the ‘Skyfall’ singer, the Canadian songbird took to her Instagram to celebrate the heartwarming meeting between the duo by sharing a still from the show and penning a long note. Adele, too, returned the compliments graciously as she paid homage to Dion by writing her own emotional note.
As Adele was performing, she noticed Dion sitting in the audience which led her to burst into tears. Soon, she rushed to her and the two singers had an emotional moment as they embraced each other.
Celine Dion heaps praises on Adele after emotional meet-up
Celine Dion wrote an emotional post on Friday, November 1, to celebrate her meet-up with Adele over the past weekend. The Queen of Power Ballads took two of her sons, twins Nelson and Eddy, 14, to attend the 36-year-old songstress’s residency.
Taking to Instagram, Dion wrote, “Adele, we are so grateful to you for welcoming me and my family back to the Colosseum for your amazing show! Your performance was spectacular, your production was so beautiful. We loved seeing you and hearing you sing…it was such an emotional night for us all.”
The singer, who has been struggling with debilitating health conditions since 2022, further added, “Your music has had such an impact on my life, it is so important to me, especially over these last few years.”

Adele previously posted a video on TikTok in August where she announced that she would be taking a step back from the entertainment industry after completing her Vegas residency on November 23.
Continuing in her praise of the ‘Rolling in the Deep’ singer, Dion added, “You’re in a class by yourself…and you deserve all the best!”
She signed off by writing, “Thank you forever, Adele…with all my love, - Celine xx…” The songstress shared a photo of them from the venue where they could be seen basking in a warm embrace with each other.
Adele reciprocates with an equally loved-up appreciation post
Adele wrote an equally emotional post as she acknowledged Dion’s presence during her performance.
“I have been performing in Celine Dion’s room at the Colosseum for almost 2 years now. 4 weeks to go! It was the only venue I wanted to play in Vegas because it was built for her,” wrote the ‘Love In The Dark’ singer.

Continuing her reverie, Adele wrote, “I have a picture of her right next to the stage that I touch every night before I walk on and she came to the show this weekend and it was a surprise and it was a MOMENT!! @celinedion I love you so very very much.”
“Words will never sum up what you mean to me, or what you coming to my show means, let alone how it felt seeing you back in your palace with your beautiful family,” continued Adele, before adding, “I have loved being there it has been such an honor and Saturday night will be something I remember forever and ever.”
As she shared an accompanying picture of warmth and respect between the duo, she concluded her post, writing, “Such a full circle moment for me to be there with you. Thank you so much ♥️.”
