Chiefs' executive chef Erin Wishon reveals 'incredible' Taylor Swift trait that left her taken aback
KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI: Taylor Swift may be one of the most recognizable faces on the planet, but offstage and away from the flashing cameras, she’s just a person who believes in kindness—even when no one’s watching.
That’s the sentiment echoed by Kansas City Chiefs executive chef Erin Wishon, who had a personal encounter with Swift that left a lasting impression.
Chiefs’ executive chef praises Taylor Swift’s authenticity
Erin Wishon, who oversees team meals through Aramark Sports + Entertainment, admitted she was “taken aback” by Taylor Swift’s warmth and authenticity when the singer greeted her and her staff at one of Travis Kelce’s games.
"You know what’s crazy? I cannot get over how authentic she is," Wishon told US Weekly.
"We feed the team, we’re standing outside the locker room. We see everybody when they come down the hall to leave. I was just really taken aback at how kind and authentic she is. I mean, you don’t have to greet the food people, you know?"
Wishon added, "When somebody is like that, I think it’s really incredible."
For a global icon who could easily glide past without a word, Swift’s simple act of acknowledgment stood out.
As per AOL, seems like Swift is also making waves among Kansas City Chiefs teammates, as Patrick Mahomes recently shared his honest thoughts on Swift at a Chiefs press conference.

When a reporter asked whether he’d prefer to have, “Patrick Mahomes’ scoring ability, Taylor Swift’s singing ability or Steph Curry’s shooting ability,” his answer was definitive.
“Taylor Swift’s singing ability … it’s not even close,” Patrick said.
Taylor Swift aims to keep a low profile at Super Bowl to let Travis Kelce shine
Taylor Swift has been a regular fixture at Chiefs games since September 2023, standing in the stands, cheering on Kelce, and celebrating their love publicly.
But as she prepares to attend Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans this February 9, reports suggest she is being intentional about not making the game about herself.
According to The Sun, Swift is concerned that her presence could overshadow what could be a historic night for Kelce and the Chiefs.
"Taylor doesn't want to be the center of attention," a source shared.
"She just wants to support Travis and help him focus on the game. She wants Travis to enjoy his Super Bowl week experience and be at 110% for Sunday, as she is dreaming about him making Super Bowl history and reaching another dream of his, winning another Super Bowl and making a three-peat," the insider added.
The source further emphasized the depth of their relationship.
They said, "He loves that she is super supportive, and he is the same with her, as they got each other's back whatever happens. They know when to step back for each other so they can focus and be fully prepared. Their understanding of what each other needs is fantastic."
