Christina Haack vows to focus on a key element above all after messy split from Josh Hall
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Christina Haack is embracing a new chapter in her life with renewed strength and a commitment to never sacrificing her "peace" again after three marriages.
On August 9, the HGTV star, 41, offered a glimpse into her journey of healing after parting ways with her third husband, Joshua Hall in a candid Instagram Story.
Christina Haack vows to 'never give away peace again'
Christina Haack shared, “One month later … I finally have my appetite back [and] I’m exercising again. My kids are happy and our house feels like home. ‘Those poor kids’ adore me [and] anyone who knows us for real knows this and that’s what matters.” [sic]
With a heart full of love for her children—13-year-old Taylor and 8-year-old Brayden, whom she shares with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, and 4-year-old Hudson from her marriage to Ant Anstead—Haack is channeling her energy into what truly matters.
Although she and Hall did not have children together, Ok Magazine reports that her focus remains steadfast on nurturing her children and creating a warm, loving home.
As the dust settles from her divorce battle, Christina is pouring her passion into her kids, cherishing time with friends, and diving into “dream” projects that excite her.
In her reflective post, she made a vow, saying, “I made myself and [my life coach] a promise—I will never ever give away my peace again."
She continued, "I will say this: 'If you’ve ever lost peace and gained it back, there is a new level of gratitude for every single moment of life.'”
The mother of three recently reflected on her newfound appreciation for living in the moment.
“A huge level of appreciation for the present moments and being present. If that’s the lesson, I’ll take it. When you have a positive mindset, the rest will work itself out like it always does,” she shared, giving insight into her mindset after the split.
It's clear Christina is living by her words. She followed her message with a heartwarming Instagram snapshot of time spent at home with her kids, Brayden, Hudson, and Taylor, captioning the moment, "My little loves."
The photo radiated warmth and contentment, a testament to her focus on what truly matters.
As previously reported, both Haack and Josh Hall filed for divorce in July. While the exact reasons for their separation remain undisclosed, sources have hinted that the couple had been facing challenges "for a while."
Haack and Hall's filed for divorce in July 2024
Christina Haack and Joshua Hall's relationship began in July 2021, shortly after Haack's divorce from Ant Anstead.
They initially kept their romance private, but Haack later shared her feelings on social media, describing an immediate and deep connection with Hall.
According to US Magazine, they got engaged in September 2021 and married in a private ceremony on October 6, 2021, later celebrating with an oceanfront event in Hawaii in April 2022.
The couple appeared together on HGTV's 'Christina in the Country,' showcasing their life and renovation business in Tennessee, per E-News.
However, their marriage faced challenges, and they filed for divorce in July 2024, citing "irreconcilable differences."
Joshua Hall requested spousal support from Christina Haack
Christina Haack’s whirlwind romance with Josh Hall may have fizzled out, but those close to her saw the storm brewing long before it hit.
“Plenty of people warned her not to rush into marrying Josh,” an insider revealed, hinting at the concerns that many in Haack’s circle had.
The HGTV star, who tied the knot with Hall just months after finalizing her divorce from Ant Anstead, is now reflecting on the decision.
“Now she’s saying she didn’t really have a clue who he is,” the source added, painting a picture of regret and realization.
As per OK Magazine, the split has been far from amicable, with tensions escalating into public accusations. Haack recently accused Hall of taking $35,000 from her—a claim she didn’t shy away from addressing on social media.
“I have worked my a** off to build this life for myself and my children, and anyone who would try and take what they do not deserve/what they did NOT work for should be ashamed,” she wrote, expressing her frustration. “An insecure man with a large ego can surely try and derail you—but, ‘still I rise.’”
As if the alleged financial dispute wasn’t enough, Hall has also requested spousal support in the divorce, a move that Haack is fiercely opposing.
“It is my understanding that Josh has his own income and therefore he should not need any spousal support from me,” she stated in her legal response.
She also mentioned to the outlet back them that he had sufficient assets of his own to pay his own attorney's fees and costs.
