PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Former President Donald Trump made a bizarre comparison of his face with the 'King of Rock and Roll' Elvis Presley, suggesting both look alike, reported news website Raw Story.

The Republican frontrunner took to his Truth Social platform on Saturday, February 3, and shared a photo mashup of his face juxtaposed with the singer.

"For so many years people have been saying that Elvis and I look alike. Now this pic has been going all over the place. What do you think," he asked his followers.

Elvis was 42 when he died in 1977, and the former President was 31 years old then.

Not first time Trump has drawn comparisons with cultural icons

Trump is famous for likening himself to prominent cultural icons. Unlike his facial comparison with the renowned singer, the former President used his legal struggles by comparing them with some well-known figures.

For instance, during a recent rally in Nevada, the White House hopeful told his supporters that he was the worst-treated US President ahead of Abraham Lincoln.

Another infamous likening was with gang boss Al Capone. Highlighting the four indictments against him, Trump, in a rally in Nevada in December 2023, said, "I heard he [Al Capone] was indicted once – a couple of people told me a few times more –, but I was indicted four times."

HuffPost reported another strange comparison he made in June 2023. Shockingly, it was with the world-famous painting Mona Lisa.

Trump bizarrely compared his supporters to those lined up to see the Leonardo da Vinci painting. "You have people that go to the Mona Lisa – they love the Mona Lisa, and they'll see it hundreds and hundreds of times, and it gets better each time."

"I can tell them in different ways and I do sometimes do that – a lot of times," he boasted.

Internet reacts to Trump's Elvis comparison

Social media users erupted as Trump claimed resemblance to the famous singer, pointing out that both had no similarities, not even on the worst day of Elvis.

One outraged user wrote, "He is one demented man."

Another user opined, "Not even close."

"It’s a huge insult to Elvis," a third response read.

A fourth user added, "Definitely a #DementiaDon moment!"

Disagreeing with Trump, one user said, "Not even on Elvis' worst day."

Another said, "What an insult to Elvis fans."

"Oh my, what next? He will think he is Caesar and wear a wreath on his head," read another remark.
