"We are absolutely devastated for the community of Los Angeles. This is an unimaginable tragedy and my heart goes out to those who have lost everything during this time," he shared.

The fires, which ignited on Tuesday, January 7, have swept through various parts of Los Angeles, including Malibu, Altadena, Pacific Palisades, and the Hollywood Hills.

High winds and dry vegetation have fueled the fast-moving flames, forcing over 80,000 residents to flee.

Authorities report at least 10 fire-related deaths, with names withheld pending identification and notification of next of kin.

Thousands of structures have been destroyed or damaged as firefighters struggle to contain the infernos.
