“There were so many fantastic veterans of Hallmark movies, and I just had a blast learning from all of them.”
'Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story,' set in Kansas City, holds a special place in her heart. “It's so much fun for them to be doing the movie in Kansas City for the first time and being in the stadium that I've been here for the past 11 years,” she said. “So it was just really fun.”

Donna’s performance in 'Christmas on Call' delighted her grandchildren, Jason Kelce and Kylie McDevitt Kelce's three daughters, Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett.
“[They] kept saying, ‘Play it back, play it back! We want to see DeeDee!’ So that was kind of fun,” she said smiling.
‘Holiday Touchdown’ cast shares sweet on-set moments with Donna Kelce
'In 'Holiday Touchdown,' Donna Kelce plays the manager of a barbecue restaurant, a character who dishes out sage advice to the film’s leads.
The story centers on the blossoming romance between the Kansas City Chiefs director of fan engagement, played by Tyler Hynes, and a die-hard fan, portrayed by Hunter King.
King and Hynes couldn’t say enough good things about the Kelce matriarch’s presence on set. “She's just so sweet,” King said. “Such a doll and just, it was like having a mom there.”
Hynes agreed, adding that Donna brought a personal touch to the experience.
“She asked us to write her son Travis a note to put in his locker since we were filming at the actual stadium,” Hynes revealed. “I wrote the lyrics to ‘Friends in Low Places’ and said, ‘Don’t ever change.’”
King chimed in, “I think I wrote something like, ‘Thanks for letting us steal your field and your mom.’”
The film features an impressive cast alongside Donna, King, and Hynes.
